Well… Pickett looks very impresive in this game against seahawks, but trubisky and rudolph too, its gonna be defined in the next preseason games.
Trubisky looked sharp. Right now Trubisky is QB1. Pickett will become the starter the first chance Trubisky stinks it up tho
@Tunay I’ll hope that trubisky get the steelers to postseason games, but if not am aware that the best option looks like it’s gonna be picket. It’s just too early to know.
I agree that drew lock deserves to be the Seahawks. He is the better option and I donβt think Geno can lead us to wins.
Geno went way passed expectation when he played last season. There were a few games where he put the Seahawks in a position to win & the defense blew it. Lock is known to throw games away & had an amazing defense on the Broncos. Not sure about that take.
@Brendan Ridgeway if anything the defense put Smith in position to win but he blew it. Like the defense in the 3 games he started, the Seahawks defense allowed 7 points against the Jaguars, 23 points against the Steelers, and 13 points against the Saints. If Geno was better, he wouldβve at least beaten the Saints. Like I didnβt expect him to beat the Steelers but we wonβt go anywhere with him.
@Brendan Ridgeway Drew has potential because he is younger and Geno showed what he has already. What do we got to lose by starting Lock. Nothing.
Mariota is easily the starter lmfao. He was more efficient and actually played against the starters. Ridder was good but inaccurate and careless at times. Mariota has this in the bag

As much as I liked Pickett in that first preseason game, there is no way he starts week 1. Never, ever, ever throw a rookie into the fire out the gates. They still have much to learn. As for the Panthers and Seahawks situation, itβs taking the lesser of two evils. I like Baker a little bit better than Darnold, given what he did in Cleveland. And I like Lock a bit better for Seattle because of the deep threat WRs heβs got. Last but not least, Mariota in Atlanta. Just like Pittsburgh, I donβt think you throw your rookie QB into the starting role immediately. Let them get adjusted to everything else first.

If the Seahawks don’t start Drew Lock then what was the point of acquiring him? They could’ve asked for a different player or another pick from the Broncos.
Fax like we already seen the limit of what Geno Smith can do. Like he is ok but he deserves to be a back up. Drew Lock has potential. We havenβt seen the limit of what he can do. I hope Pete Carroll comes to his senses and starts Drew Lock.

There is a quarterback battle between Brock Prudy and Tray Lance. Cause Prudy looked better then tray Lance. First preseason game.
