I can’t believe the NFL butchered the protocol for COVID-19 this bad. They’ve known since March, why was there not a solid contingency beyond cancelling preseason?? There will be more players testing positive to come…

The Titans-Steelers game was also supposed to be postponed until “Monday or Tuesday”, but has now been moved to week 7. It seems like the entire season could be at risk.

I also think the Pats poorer performance on deep passes and longer time to throw passes is a bit of small sample luck early this season. On most of those plays they had a defender in position, but the catch was made anyway–around Gilmore’s arm, behind a falling Jason McCourty, between two converging defenders–and I think those are high variance plays that the Pats will get far more of their far share of going forwards this season.
