Not available at 19, WFT would have to pay a lot to get him.
They could be looking to trade up this year’s first rounder and next year’s first rounder to get into the top ten in order to draft Trey Lance…..they sent scouts to his pro day after all….I don’t think they did that for any other quarterback.

If we do want a developmental QB, the only guy I’d see with enough upside is Newman, but even for him the third is a bit rich

I think the best way to go with the Qb issue is with developing them: Aaron, Pat and Tom all sat prior to starting. Very few Qbs come in great. I like Henicke as a possible starter and drafting Sam Mills from Stanford and developing him.
As far as LBs go, Baron Browning somewhere in the top 50 should be a HUGE get, absolute STUD!
And Nick Niemann on day three could be a serious sleeper steal.
At 19 I think a trade down may be the smartest move if possible, but it depends of course still on how the chips fall and the board stacks up on draft day
