The Steelers never had a losing season from the day they drafted Big Ben until the day he retired. 18 YEARS without a losing season with Ben on the roster. Think about that. That is ridiculous. That ALONE should get him in the Hall Of Fame, let alone his zillion other accomplishments. Even this year, at nearly 40 no longer able to move around, he did well enough to have the Steelers in the playoff race going into their final game. And that’s considered a BAD year in Pittsburgh. That’s how high Ben has kept “the standard.”

@Br Fuzz Yes..the revisionist history starts….LOL. And this whole “Ben won, Ben accomplished” It’s A TEAM SPORT! I’m a Steeler fan since 1976(yes I’m old) but some of this stuff is ridiculous. In the old days one guy like the QB or RB would be praised, but everyone knew it takes a team. The young fans these days are just silly and out of touch with reality.

@Ellie Gonzales don’t sound like a steeler fan at all why wouldn’t he get a proper send off before retirement he’s a legend here in the city of pittsburgh

Ben thank you so much for staying a Steeler through your career. You truly are the most underrated qb. When you were drafted I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Bowmans Chrome autographed rookie card of yours, cost me $300 but it’s priceless to me. We have another game to win though

Thank you Ben, you will surely be missed sir. πŸ–€πŸ’›πŸ–€πŸ’›πŸ–€πŸ’›

I remember Bradshaw at the end of his career but I had to put up with Stoudt ,Malone, Brister, O’Donnell, Tomzac, Stewart and Maddox before Rothlisburger. I hope we don’t go that long before we get another good QB as we did between Bradshaw and Ben.

The best reason to watch when they played the browns was the great Steelers quarterback and team! So glad to see that Ben went out beating the browns. Sad day to see Big Ben leave but he leaves behind a great legacy. Thank you Ben and thank you Steelers for amazing football. Sorry brownies πŸ˜‚

You mean so much to all of us Ben. Thank you so much for being the leader of the family that we all are. I will cherish every moment for the rest of my life. It’s not Steeler Nation, it’s Steeler Family. This is why the Steelers and everyone associated with them are so special and always will be.
