Trash team. We need to fire the DC immediately and fix the QB situation. Also, the O-line sucks and there is no work being done in the secondary

    Anthony Sinatra

The worst part is that Tomlin is calling the defenses

    Victor Gamez

    The DC is tomlin

ExpiredCG

Disappointed in not only the players but also the coaches. Things need to change.

    Janco Taylor Small

You are so right they will have to make change in the coaches even Tomlin might have to go

    ExpiredCG

@Janco Taylor Small I think Tomlin is the head coach of the future even with him being here for awhile already. Mike can’t control the play calls on offense or the Oline blocking better either. I say wait for FA to see if we fix our issues. But Canada gotta go at the end of the season

Shaun Field

“Not enough splash…” No sir, there was not enough professional athleticism, period. Shameful display today.

    PokeSlax

Only today , they have 5 years playing heartless an this man it’s the responsable

    DuskThunder9

@PokeSlax I’m 2017 they went 13-3 and had the best offense in the nfl

    PokeSlax

@DuskThunder9 and the Súper bowl I think that New England have this Lombardy trophy 🏆 so lame

    PokeSlax

@DuskThunder9 to the steelers a year whit out a Super bowl it’s a failure , that is required of a big team as a fan

Travis Alder

They put their second string in. Lol. We still couldn’t match it. Splash? Splash? The past 4 games we couldn’t make a drip in the first half of each game. 😂

    isaac madrigal jr

Bc our offense coordinator is trash. And we a better play book.

GYM HUSTLE

For the past 2 yrs I’ve watched my team over pursue on defense, and miss tackles. You play how you practice! N frankly we don’t practice. Tomlin give these guys too much off time!! Thats why our offense can’t get goin, and our defense can’t tackle.

    Cameron Long

No … that’s not the reason at all

    GYM HUSTLE

@Cameron Long just my opinion you’re correct, I maybe wrong. But whatever the issue is , I hope we can figure things out.

    Grant Byers

Bro.. I loved Devin Bush outta Michigan. Even as a diehard Ohios state fan.. thought on the same level as Tonkin when he drafted him and had big hopes. Dude has not played to par for a STEELERS LINEBACKER.. dude is a wash I think. Don’t like to use those words but this season really exposed how bad he’s been playing.

Jimmy Baker

I posted earlier on the pathetic and embarrassing performance, we do need to ditch the whole staff, I’m just past done, I totally agree with what the comments are stating, because I went in hard on their sorry romps after that terrible performance, it doesn’t matter who they let go, these jokers sat back, so worried about taking out hill, and their sorry butts kept getting dumped on.

CLWXRF

I used to hate when the Chiefs had to play the Steelers the Steelers would run all over us. I remember one year the Chiefs were 8 and 0 until we played the Steelers, the Steelers won and showed others the way.

    rjr 1979

James Harrison use to beat Eric Fisher but every down

Felix Da Kat

“ weighty plays” “splash plays”
Sounds like a broken record to me 🤣

    3D Texan

Every loss the same story from Tomlin.

    James Tyler

What do you expect him to say after a loss? There’s no rhetoric that would satisfy our lack of understanding for what goes on inside the Stadiums on GameDay. He’s factual, level headed, and sophisticated. He’s a class act. Even though he leaves much to be desired when addressing the media, he’s eliminating the spectacle and fanaticism that the media is looking for.

Jimmy Baker

The whole coaching staff never made adjustments, it’s asif they wanted us to get beat down, I said earlier, that nobody’s held accountable, Tomlin needs to go, I don’t care what Steelers fans think, you don’t keep allowing a team repeatedly, to keep getting long chunk yards on you consistently, this was poor coaching, he does this too often, every last one from the sidelines to the press box, should be fired, this the worse performance ever, don’t even talk playoffs, y’all need to be gone, miss tackles and we talk about bush, Spillane and highsmith both hit a guy and he still got away, how terrible and embarrassing that was, these guys don’t care, I’m honestly so sick of their sorry performance, and I mean all, nobody played today, Ben couldn’t frigging fake a reverse, without getting the ball taken out of his hands, like some lil kid, they sickens me just straight to the loins, they all need to be gone, Washington and ray ray, don’t care for their return next season along with Tomlin and Canada!

    Ledonte Taylor

It’s like they didn’t even care that’s how they was playing they didn’t try to do anything it’s almost like they wanted to lose that game

    Ledonte Taylor

It was just sad watch the coaching staff must go they need to clean house and start a rebuild first starting with o line then the quarterback position and then the secondary needs to be fixed except for haden and Fitzpatrick

    Ray Staples

I mean the team trash ain’t all Tomlin’s fault

    R & B GREATEST UNKNOWN ARTISTS

@Ray Staples I agree Ray. Last year the Jet fired their head coach and they are no better off this year. Firing coach lead to years of problems because it destabilizes the team.

Todd N

It’s difficult to watch the team you follow lose week after week, year after year. To hear the same cliches from Tomlin gets old. There’s no answer for the secondary failures, the run defense not stopping anything and, on top of that, no solution to a backup quarterback for at least 5+ seasons. Of course, if I knew what the right answer(s) were, I’d probably be coaching. Despite all of that, Pittsburgh is still the team I root for! Go Steelers!

    DuskThunder9

We win more then we lose

    Matt Frye

@DuskThunder9 we look horrible, way more than we look good

    H-sGrace SavedMe

@DuskThunder9 so your the type of fan that is just happy winning enough games to make (possibly) into the playoffs only to get humiliated there? We’re you a Cowboys fan before? You sound like a Tomlin fan not a Steelers fan.. remember I said “SOUND LIKE”.

    Robert tremonte

I will put most the blame of the secondary on tomlin since that is his specialty. The run defense no doubt has been awful, but to be fair our line has dealt with injuries all season especially without having Tyson or tuitt. And in terms of the Qb situation in the future well I think most of the blame should go to Colbert cause he’s a big factor when it comes to that also.

    H-sGrace SavedMe

@Robert tremonte attitude and heart is a problem with starters and backups

ThatDuckisToxic

This guy has turned one of the greatest franchises into a clown show.

    Will P

@esteban no he inherited a great franchise.

    esteban

@Will P he’s never had a losing season with us and won 2 Super Bowls. I admit his coaching this year has been subpar but his legacy is great

    Mad dog Skip

    @esteban
No actually he only won one, the first one was with a team Bill Cower buit and he lost the second one to Green Bay. As far as the rest of his tenure with us he can be named “one and done” because that’s all he’s accomplished.

    Victor Gamez

@esteban tomlin won one SB with cowhers team

Victory Asher

I’m glad he had the guts to bench Ben today. Should have been done a few weeks ago.

    Max Scherzer’s blue eye

@Victory Asher John Gruden didn’t want him in Washington because he suspected that he wasn’t ready for the big time after just one season in college (on a loaded Ohio State squad). Gruden was right, as were multiple analysts who voiced the same concern, namely, that he was terrible under duress. He validated those claims when he struggled mightily in Washington vs NFL pressure and blitz concepts. He’s awesome when he has time; Ohio State gave him lots of that. Unfortunately the WFT didn’t, and to be very good you must be able to operate outside the pocket, which he can’t. I agree that he was in a dysfunctional franchise, but his passing problems have persisted in Pittsburgh, who are not dysfunctional but who’s offensive line also sucks; however, see above for why that’s not an excuse. He’s been said to be unmotivated and lackadaisical in practice, and I don’t need to cite my sources because you know it’s out there. I could care less how he acts, provided he wins us games! But going off of his preseason accomplishments I’m not surprised he’s ridden the bench. He’s just not good at this point. I hope he improves in the future.

By the way, could you clarify what “lighter optics” means to you? There’s Optic Lighters and Ultralight Optics, plus a host of contact lenses recommended for me when I googled it. Tell me the entire (damn) truth real quick….

    Bruins1970

@Victory Asher cut the racist crap …this is a football discussion..
You don’t know me keyboard warrior..check yourself

    Bruins1970

    When was he benched?

    Sweaty Baloney

Lol. Victory Asher wins “Idiot of the Day”.

    Good for you, bud.

SBMM IS CANCER

Surprised Mike Tomlins interviews still get views. He just says the same thing week in and week out. You guys aren’t missing anything if you skip these. Just saying

    WgcDs7 JyG

It’s the entertainment factor of his press conferences. Yes, he 💩s out the same drivel week after week. Yet, it’s like a drinking game: take a shot when Tomlin says “he tips his cap”, “we got beat on both sides of the ball”, “we own this”, “we take no comfort”, blah blah blah. 😜😜😜

Derrick Burdine

I just don’t know why it takes the coaches so long to see that our offense sucked we could not score touchdowns the whole first half this has been going on for weeks

Peter Marenos

I also watch the film during the week, to see what went wrong and what we need to work on. All I see is a mess. Dropped catches, missed tackles, dumb penalties, poor blocking and questionable play calls. As I said a few weeks back, a complete clean out of coaches and the GM is a necessity. Mediocre is not the Pittsburgh way, change is needed.

Nunya Bidnis

Knowing that the O line can’t block, why on 4th and 1, do you pitch it to Najee 5 yards deep?

    Sweaty Baloney

    SPLASH PLAYS

Jonny bryant

My God , my heart go out to Tj watt and a few other players on the D. The Steelers have to take a look at their coaches at the end of the season. I love the Steelers as a fan.

James Jones

Make Tomlin accountable

Ssj N1gga 2

I remember in 2018 we were up a few picks above the Ravens.. We drafted Terrell Edmounds and they drafted Lamar Jackson. There Is absoulutly no excuse to why we do not have a solid QB legacy by now.. Even then, that was almost 4 years ago and we still have not done anything to fix that issue.. wtf are they doing in Pittsburgh?

    Frederick E

Yeah I definitely wanted us to draft Jackson can’t even blame our archenemy for not passing up on him 😅

    Dmeads 56

Lamar sucks, he’s a glorified RB

    Ssj N1gga 2

@Dmeads 56 He’s still a lot better than who we have back there now, and he would have been a much more reliable back-up/Sub/QB legacy than Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins (who I think are only used for practice squad reps)

    Frederick E

@Dmeads 56 how did he win that mvp then?

ussteel07

This team is average at best. Look at the offensive line, look at the inside LBs, we have 1 stud at every level of defense and then the talent drops off significantly. The fact that we had an opportunity to be in the playoffs is a Godsend. 8-8-1 is a miracle.
