Dak is a good quarterback. An elite super bowl commanding quarterback ? No. The quarterback is responsible for consistently moving the offense and even inspiring the whole team by his leadership. Not how well he talks and answers questions. He’s the same good quarterback we drafted out of Mississippi State. Nothing more then that.

    I’m 62 and the Landry years I’ll never forget as a die hard Cowboy fan some heartbreaking losses but so many great wins in games like today’s game. Dak not quite like Staubach yet that’s for sure. Those 2 picks were devastating. Pollard looked awesome but this loss is a heartbreaker!

    ​@Jeremiah Johnson not that Dak helped the team, but the penalities were what I couldn’t stand to watch. Too many drives stalled and it seemed like every other return play was going back half the distance on a boneheaded penalty. 83 yards of penalties in that game.

    @Adam As far as Team discipline the Landry and Jimmy Johnson years seem to always have had it and the Cowboys haven’t had it since. Penalties were killers today too.

I put this loss on the shoulders of Mike McCarthy. He coached like this wasn’t a business trip. He was returning for a family reunion. Why wouldn’t you kick that field goal in overtime with the league’s best defense. This loss alone regardless of our record puts him on the hot seat to not return next year.

The blown call was not running the ball on 3rd and 4 in OT. If you don’t get all 4 yards on 3rd down, you run it again on 4th. You certainly don’t give the ball back to Rodgers in OT. RUN THE BALL!!!!!!!

The D dropped the ball. Two touchdown advantage going into the 4th should be enough with this defense. Run D is still an issue.
