Demontez….I just hope he is the Bucs quarterback next year. Being it is a contract year for Jamis, this is a make or break season for him. If Jamis and the team come out and underperform again this year, Jamis will be playing for another team next year.

Bucs defense looks a whole lot better than last year. I know it preseason but mike smith was terrible. Playing that soft defense killed us in so many games.
All the pieces are in place to win. We will just have to strategize for our weak OLine

Tight ends and RBs can help to mitigate the weak O-line.
-Two to three step drop max.
-Dumping the ball to the check down (Barber/O.J/Brate).
-Showing post and throwing to a curl route (Godwin).
-pistol options (Jameis hits the hole).
Will the Bucs make those adjustments (assuming they have to)? It just depends. The O-line looked bad against: Browns and will most likely struggle against the Rams.
However, they will not struggle like that against: Carolina/Falcons/Giants/Cardinals and Lions.
They have a chance to keep adjusting and improving as the season progresses. They won’t look terrible all the time.

If we can get the same production from Jameis in Blaine next year we should let Jameis go only for cap space purposes and try and aim higher for a better O-line next draft / if we keep him 2021 Buccaneers will be trash again because we couldn’t keep players like devonte and Cameron
Great Job Casey. Jameis has made mistakes but his underlying demeanor is so special. He is gonna take this team to the next level this year.
He will continue to go through challenges in the media, but he always tune things out never let the hate get to him and just plays the game. That’s a different type of mentality when you put God first.

He is a worthless quarterback. He will not stay out of trouble, he looks forward to causing trouble. Just remember, no quarterback that leaves college early has ever made it in the pros. They last a couple of years and then they are gone.

I said it then and I will say it now, Tampa should have drafted Melvin Gordon the year he came out and got a free agent QB. Now, Tampa is gambling on Jameis to have a great year and hoping RoJo has a breakout season. Man, they make things harder than they need to. I’m hoping for the best but expecting the same ol Buccaneers.
