@Chris Smith bro if you go look at the NFL numbers over the last few years Dallas actually doesnt get beat deep often. Their problem is stopping the run and has been since the end of the 2018 season. You can have the greatest DB’s and you will still lose in today’s game if you cant control the line of scrimmage. For as bad as everyone says the secondary was they still ranked 11th in pass defense. You cant stop the run in football you cant win bro simple as that. They fixed that front 7 which will help improve the defense much quicker. BTW why dont we all just wait for training camp to actually see Kazee?? Yea he coming off an injury that seems to be popular amongst all athletes right now but this is his 5th year. He is young enough to recover and is a proven playmaker when on the field.

@bigdawggrese my point is I feel like jerry wont draft a true game changing safety if his life depended on it. Yet alone trade up in the draft or trade for one in the offseason. Not a JAG but a real game changing safety with 1st round talent. JAG meaning just another guy.

Too bad it never dawned on Dallas that if they would have traded up ONE PICK in the 1st & 2nd Round. If they had (or we had a GM who knew what he was doing), we’d have Surtain, Moehrig, AND WHO KNOWS who else we would have ended up yet.
They could’ve gotten Nashon Wright in the 7th or as a FA. Instead, they got this extra Pick and then just threw it away. It would have been a GREAT time for a FS, OT, etc. Even CB, just a GOOD CB.

If after 32 years I couldn’t put together a Super Bowl Chip team (and I mean WITHOUT Jimmy) then I’d hire a(nother) GM, besides McClay, which is technically what he does ( or “consultant”).
I guess we’ll see how good these players are. I guess they got caught off guard in the 1st Round but then they let it happen to them AGAIN, which I said BEFORE, because it had JUST happened in the 1st, that if he fell they would make sure they didn’t LOSE THE BEST FREE SAFETY in the Draft!
I really think that Will really pulls together good players…..But, because Jerry and Stephen make the final decision it comes out bad! Like not moving up one or two spots to save money (Stephen) or our GM Jerry (Old Ball Coach) wanting to change the narrative. The Coach is just a figurehead…which is sad!
