The most important thing about Tyler smith moving to guard is does it help the run game, and give you more muscle against the blitz. If they go from a good run team, to a scary run team, that’s the path to playing winning.

Tyron needs a long ramp-up period. He missed most of December last year, played wk 16 vs ARI, rested him wk 17 and then he was DOMINATED by Charles Omenihu and Jordan Willis, not Bosa. If those two guys gave Tyron problems, think what a real pass rusher like Bosa would do. Dak would get killed.

I’d say so..also we actually aren’t very good at pass block win rate..what’s saved us is Rush and Dak gettikg rid of the ball quickly..our oline has been great run blocking, but struggles pass blocking..so then IF IF Tyron is actually healthy I get him ready for the playoffs and kick Tyler inside..I like our chances running inside with Tyler and Martin as my guards..and IF Tyron gets hurt? so be it..that’s what we’ve got Peters for
