This was a huge play based on being at the right place while doing something wrong. Simone jumped on the play action, which he does a lot. That’s why he’s not rated as a good pass defender. He’s overly aggresive against the run. How carson did not see the received Simone let go freely and who is wide open, is beyond me. Simone is lucky Ward made the hurry and that Carson is rattled this season. Any decent QB is turning that into 20 plus yards.
