How will Garcon’s production be affected if Kirk Cousins takes over under center in place of Robert Griffin III for the last three games of the season? Coach Mike Shanahan has intimated that Griffin may be benched for the remainder of the 2013 campaign to make sure he is fully healthy for next year.
Garcon will remain the No. 1 wideout on the team, but Cousins does not have the same rapport with Garcon as Griffin did. Nevertheless, Garcon hasn’t had over 70 yards receiving in each of the last four games for the Redskins, so perhaps the change in quarterbacks won’t be that much of a big deal anyway. Garcon remains a PPR monster, and with over 1,000 yards to his name in 2013 as well, should be started no matter who lines up under center for Washington.
