@Gaming & Sports they have the earliest 2nd round pick and the other 7 teams wernt taking rb so it’s just better to pick anything else you need. Rb was the least of their worries and they should’ve taken a defensive player or something in case someone else took em afterwards.

@JF 88 I’m in the minority loving this pick. Urban did say not long ago that he’s not particularly aiming for team needs and is willing to go for BPA. ETN is a wild, ballsy pick for the Jags and it worked out as nobody that I wanted got off the board. The Jags are sitting pretty at 33 with many options, including Jenkins, JOK, or Moehrig. (We could nab them both as we also have the 45th pick too.)
@Downie I am a Clemson fan and a new Jags fan. I think that ETN will be a very good addition and hopefully they run a duel running back game similar to the Packers. I think they did not have to draft him but as a Clemson fan I like that and hopefully that duel running back system will work. ETN is a very well rounded player. Trevor should play up to par. Remember how well that Packers duel threat running back system worked. Do we like the pick? We still have number 33 and 45 so we could get Moehrig. Do we like Najee or Travis more?

@Jacob Couvutsakis if they are letting rodgers go yes, they still need a de and 2lbs on defense , another wr and help on the oline, with rodgers gone they’ll need a season to get those things and develop but it shouldn’t take long with the current personell

@Krithik Sreekumar Your defense was playing well all season long. That 1 play wasn’t the problem. My point isn’t that Rodgers doesn’t have help, I PERSONALLY think he does, BUT he wants more help it’s well known. That’s why I’m saying why not just take an offensive player to make him happy? I saw somewhere that the Packers last 9 or so 1 first round picks have been all defensive players with the exception of Jordan Love (which doesn’t help Rodgers obv). I might be slightly wrong about 9 but it’s somewhere along those lines.
