Brah, we are going to be a problem on offense. See the thing is Freeman became a non-threat. You man a good LB on him and it was game over. Hoop had trouble get separation from better Strong safeties and LBs too. Now that hurst is in the mix and Gurley… you will have to stay honest. Teams will get burnt over playing any position. We just need Gurley to maintain at least 80% of his top caliber of self.

Dang…didn’t know Hurst was beasting like that. If that line comes together, Matt might be putting up MVP numbers again.
I read an article shortly after the trade was made that said Hurst could actually end up being an upgrade over Hooper. He’s bigger, faster, more physical, & is known for having excellent hands. And coming from a run dominant OFF like the Ravens, he’s rated much higher as a run blocker than Hooper. With his speed & size, he should be able to create more mismatches, gain separation in one on one match ups, & attack the middle of the field on slants.
I believe he’ll gain more YAC & make more big plays than Hooper was able to make. This is not a negative indictment on Hooper, who’s a 2 time Pro bowler. It’s just an assessment of Hayden’s ability to do what Hooper did well, plus some of the things he didn’t do as well.
Basically Austin Hooper for Hayden Hurst that’s not too bad
