We will never have a team with Rivers, LT, Merriman, McNeill, Williams, Lo’Neal, Gates, Hardwick, Sproles, Floyd, V-Jax, Comrartie, and Jammer ever again.. Oh how blessed we were to have that 2006-2007 team.

If Saints want to go to the playoffs they better call Rivers ASAP.
Getting Rivers doesnt make the refs make proper calls, have guys catch the ball, or have a kicker make XPs. QB isnt the problem in nola, you clearly dont watch the games
We had years when we had a stacked roster and years with a weak roster but every time 17 was out there. Felt like we always had a chance to win any game.

Chargers should of beat patriots in 2006 afc divisional game but loss cause stupid CB intercepted Brady with like 5 mins to go when we had the lead but instead of going down he fumbled and gave it right back to patriots. Then in 2007 AFC championship game rivers was playing with a torn ACL and LT was hurt and not playing and they still almost beat patriots by picking off Brady 3 times. Rivers never folded in the playoffs vs them just un lucky circumstances and a mistake by a dumb CB
@Anthony You gave 2 examples but both had the same end results. It was a safety btw not a cb.
@HeadEnterprise I never said they won? I’m saying you can’t BLAME rivers for those games. He’s not the saftey that didn’t go down after a pick and fumbled it and he couldn’t control having to play with a tore ACL is all I’m saying

I’d. What anyone says Eli is a hall of famer & Rivers is def right there. Yes I know Rivers has a better winning record but Eli has 2 SB MVPs. IMO both are great .

For my birthday last year, my mom acquired a signed Phillip Rivers Jersey for me. I broke down in tears with how happy I was. Growing up watching Phil will be something I’m always so grateful for. Although we didnt win any super bowls, and had some rough seasons. The Chargers wouldnt be the same without him, and he will always be remembered as one of the greatest among those who’ve donned the lightning bolt.
