Dallas Goedert and Javon Hargrave were the MVPs tonight. Goedert consistently moved the chains and Hargrave held the fort and then some in the interior with Jordan Davis sitting out.

Am I the only one seeing how fast hurts is making these reads and throwing the ball? He’s what I wanted Justin Fields to be as a Bear fan. He’s efficient and mobile even when Mailata missed like 4 rushers today, he kept calm and just threw the ball accurately. Damn.

Fields is inconsistent. He makes big plays at times and you think he’s finally breaking out to be a great QB then he goes back to mediocrity. He’s kind of like Mitch Trubisky was at first. Showed flashes of greatness until he finally fell off a cliff. Now he’s a backup at best. I give Fields 3 more years and we will know if he’s legit or not. I personally feel he will be a forever up and down QB. Good enough that the Bears keep him too long. Hurts definitely is an all around good QB. Arguably even an elite QB and he’s been consistent. He can burn you on the pass or run but he doesn’t have to rely on his feet all the time. This guy is dangerous and it looks like he’s here to stay.

Not to mention his completion percentage is crazy high when he’s got a clean pocket. There were doubts about hurts and what’d the eagles do. Gave him a great running game and 2 LEGIT #1 receivers and look at the leap he’s take

As an Eagles fan hats off to Houston they came out early ready to play, Dameon Pierce is going to be a problem hopefully for many more years to come
Despite Houston losing, they played some good football. If they build around Pierce they’ll have a bright future
They more likely will be, they have 2 first rounds next year and in 2024
@reynarain Mills looks like he has potential to be really good. He’s still making rookie mistakes. If he didn’t make those mistakes in this game it would have been down to the final plays. Even Hurts didn’t look that good at first and now he’s one of the best QBs. Texans look about 2 years away from being a playoff contender.

Never build a team around a running back. Running backs are replaceable.
That Philly defense is relentless man😮 every time Hurts gets in trouble with the last drive, they come through and get a pick, a sack, or a 3 and out. I’ve never seen such a well balanced team ❤

So many Eagles fans were butthurt when he got drafted. Carson Wentz was a walking injury. It was smart to draft Jalen. When he started in 2020? I saw something special in him. So many doubters, so many haters. I stood by this guy. Now look at him. First time in franchise history, the Eagles are 8-0. He put in the work and developed into a great quarterback. Proud of him and this team.
@VileSinner666 for sure Jalen was awesome from the get go. I think people who thrashed him the most were the Wentz fanboys who refused to believe he was washed. I’m sure them doubters have been silenced.
@Iam Champ Exactly. Don’t get me wrong, I like Carson. He had a huge hand in getting us to the Super Bowl, along with Nick Foles. As of now? Jalen smokes Carson in every way. He isn’t getting hurt, his awareness is fantastic. He actually RUNS the ball when he needs to. Such a great asset to the team. I hope Philly gives him a big contract after the season is over.

We struggled in the beginning but worked our way to the top and kept fighting. There’s still no quit or slowing down from this undefeated team, we made history today as being the first eagles team in franchise history to go 8-0! Looking forward to see what comes next for the birds 🦅

They “fly” down the field just so easily, it’s almost unfair! So calm, so sure of themselves, it’s really fun to watch! And as others commented: Finally a TNF-Game worth watching, the Texans didn’t do that bad either, except for the interceptions.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the Texans played for most of this game. Had a solid game, save for a couple of questionable throws by Mills. Dameon Pierce was really fun to watch. There just wasn’t any stopping that Eagles offense today. They ran the ball quite well and that really opened things up for Hurts to make plays. He was really on point tonight, always easily using his feet to create opportunities for his offense, whether it was on the ground of through the air. He has turned the corner this year and is now a superstar.
The WR on Texas are rubbish, Mills is a good pocket passer and accurate thrower, but he doesn’t have a decent receiver and his OL are crummies.
Mills played well with little help outside of Pierce. That 1st INT the Oline sold and left him out to dry. He shouldn’t have thrown it but damn that was bad blocking. The RT didn’t block anyone and left Graham as a free rusher
