Yes, because YOUR backup quarterback was better equipped to be an effective starter for a game while OUR backup quarterback was just trying not to turn the ball over. Dak doesn’t throw 3 picks in that game like Rush did. Without those picks, Dallas wins, never mind the obvious boost for the running game when there is a legit threat behind center. The D can’t just load up against the run. While in this game, your QB threw 3 TDs and the two picks weren’t on him, they were caused by aggressive defending by the DBs. Hurts is a better QB certainly, but you can’t expect that he would throw more TDs really. 3 in a game is great. You do that 17 times and you’ve thrown 51 TDs.

This one of those rarest games where both teams been playing some great football during the season & got a winning record, fans on both sides genuinely happy and saying ggs & congratulations to each others, love to see it as an Eagles fan

@K right there’s a huge point because your backup hasn’t always been a backup. Rush has barely even stepped on the field. Even with those few starts this year he’s green as hell still. Minshew can actually play. He could literally go start somewhere most people agree he played better then most starters in that game and no one will tell you Rush could start anywhere. Big point there.

I’m an eagles fan but this is going to go down as one of the best games between these 2. The build up leading up. Minshew playing, 4 TOs, both offense exploding, 3rd and 30(game changer). What a game

@Jason Kressen 1 was on him. I wouldn’t say none because all qbs make mistakes once in a while but if you actually watched the highlights you’d see the receiver got stripped & sanders fumbled.
@Jason Kressen When a RB can’t take a handoff right in his hands and a receiver can’t secure two passes right in his hands, it’s not on the QB.

Very impressed by Minsew but you have to give credit to Dak on how he was able to rebound from that early pick 6 and shred that Eagles defense. Shannon was right, without Hurts, the Eagles are still a good team but Minsew is not Nick Foles and while nobody really expected him to play as well as he did, in the end, just like with Cooper Rush, showed why he is a backup, the Eagles D let the team down, not him, he’s not Hurts and they shouldn’t force him to win the game for them.
Minshew was a starter though. Rush has never been a starter so can’t really use that comparison
@J O minshew was a starter because there was nobody else there. Look how quickly the Jags moved on from him. Cooper Rush has always had a pro bowl quarterback ahead of him on the depth chart.

I’m a life long boyz fan and I had a feeling even with Minshew this game would be good! Those eagles are the real deal. They were eating up our secondary. Thank god we could make a stand at the end!
Our biggest concern right now in my opinion is the 2nd cornerback spot! Ever since Anthony Brown went down we’ve had a very leaky secondary! And I believe the pass rush will step it up and be as good as they’ve been all year but they gotta get home more too

One of the greatest NFL weekends in recent memory. Last night’s Eagles-Cowboys game was fantastic. The great play continues today with the Dolphins-Packers now in progress. I figured I would post this before watching the Bucs-Cardinals game that would only ruin the mood.
