@hamhockbeans We missed Maddox and Slay both. That bench guy Scott I think his name was? He was horrible I must’ve seen him 8 yards off his man multiple times. He completely lost Agnew on that TD run. We need Slay and Maddox bad lol
@FiringallCylinders he was good against Kirk in coverage, on of the reasons we won. Everyone was talking about how Kirk was gonna go off and that’s why the jaguars could win, but Scott covered him all game well.

They didn’t really give hurts trouble last week. It was raining hard all game and it was really windy. No qb would have thrown the ball well

Jacksonville wasn’t even giving Hurts trouble as a passer per se. Much of why they abandoned the pass was because of the weather. And Hurts’ passer rating is always a bit deflated by the fact that he’s so likely to hand it off or run for the TD himself in the red zone.
I mean he still has a passer rating of 99.6🤷🏾♂️
@John Omalley Still, his actual level of play is almost definitely underappreciated by that number because it relies so heavily on passing touchdowns. (Which is in turn somewhat mitigated by how great his line and weapons are.)

@John Omalley It’s not bad by any means. I’m just saying, at least across the small sample size, he’s even better than 99.6 because the metric predictably costs him points whenever he decides to run instead of throw for a TD.

They absolutely didn’t give Jalen Hurts any trouble last week , and I think the Eagles will still star undefeated to be honest

It’s still weird to me to see Z Ertz in red. He was one of my favorite eagles for several years……. BUT Dallas goedert is a beast! I love that guy!
Dallas is a far better all around Tight End than Ertz, and that is a huge compliment.
@Martin Schneider I agree, we have more talent and I think a few years down the road, we will be missing our 2022 roster.
Ertz is the only person to ever catch a game winning TD pass in the Super Bowl for the Eagles. Three weeks in a row going against 2017 alumni (Wentz, Pederson, Ertz). Hope to make it 3 for 3 W’s. Next week we’ll see Jason Peters line up for Dallas ><.
@C Ram four weeks don’t forget Jalen Reagor lol. Week one was the only week we didn’t play a former recent Eagle. That was more of a revenge game for Detroit who got eviscerated by us last year.
The Eagles are one of the most balanced teams in the NFL on defense and on offense. If the Cardinals choose to run we got Davis and Cox and if Murray passes Bradberry will do great and we finally have coverage linebackers. Also, McPhearson didn’t have a bad game either and neither did Scott. Also, if the Cardinals want to stop our ground game Hurts will throw all over the field (over 300 passing yards 3/4 games) and if they want to stop the pass then we just run over them (great game by Sanders). Also, please give Sermon more snaps he did good with the limited snaps. My score 31-21 Eagles.
scott and mcpherson may struggle in dry conditions against a fast AZ team. will be a good test for them
@Jackson Marriner True but don’t forget McPhearson would be somewhat used to the conditions due to the fact he is from Texas Tech. Also, StateFarm Stadium is indoors.
@Arjun honestly i dont think the eagles will score that much more than 28 points. As they usually only score a lot in the 2nd quarter and then dont need to anymore.
@SpiritHunter TV This will be interesting. Cardinals are the worst first half team in NFL and only team to not score in the first quarter.
They’re the second best team in the second half. Best in the 4th. They make very good adjustments after the half.
Eagles may have to play all 4 quarters because Cardinals are very capable of putting up points in a hurry.

As a Cards fan, I’m hoping they’ll win, but I’m not expecting them to. What I’m looking for is that they keep pace with the Eagles; that it’ll be a close game, and not like it was against the Chiefs in game one of the season.
As a cardinals fan I feel like we completely flipped the script from last year but in the worst way possible. We came from starting strong to not being able to finish to starting of flat and finishing strong it seems like it’s a matter of how much we’re losing by at halftime

The Eagles have a loaded roster full of talent at every position. The “experts” are currently running with the Eagles until they slip up and lose one. Then it will be a lot of “I told you so” comments out there by the very same “experts” who are touting them now. This Eagles team will go far into the playoffs. Believe me.
