The difference is that back then, the Steelers and patriots were pretty much the only other good teams in the conference. AFC is a meat grinder where teams that should contend for a title may miss the playoffs this year
@Kaleb Kain in fairness he had the worst o-line in the nfl those years and still had some of the best passer ratings in the league and still maintained a winning season and playoff birth nearly every year for 10 years. And he didn’t have LOB the last 6 years. People also forget the reason they made it into their second Super Bowl was not because of the LOB but Russ being clutch as hell and out gunning Aaron Rogers. I agree he has a lot to prove but if he has good protection around him and can stay healthy he can do some damage. The guy is proven
