Do the Seahawks approach injured players the same as the rest of the league? Seems like Procise, Penny, ect if they don’t want to play they don’t play. How many draft bust in how many positions the last eight years?

    Are you suggesting that penny and prosise don’t want to play? Or that the team doesn’t want them to play?

    Yeah the Seahawks traditionally are a much more conservative team in relation to injuries. I don’t think it’s that Penny or Prosise were not wanting to play so they just let them stay on IR. I think they take care of their guys and see it as more important to heal them up by giving them an extra week or two rather than throwing them right back in when they might be only 80% and risk reinjury. And yeah we’ve had a decent number of draft busts in the last couple years. I’d say the worse is Collier then maybe Penny after that. Some would say Ifedi but he at least gave us 4 years of nearly full seasons even though it was mediocre play

    It is still just football. More rules favoring the offense and a lot more money ( anyone notice the 1/2 billion dollar player this year?) but the defense will make the adjustments. It is like when criminals come up with new ways to rob you and then the police have to make adjustments. Defense wins championships. Offense is more for entertainment and you know how people love to be entertained.

    Gotta be careful about the neck man. I love watching Carson play and we need him but I don’t want to see him paralyzed or seriously injured. If you want to be annoyed about something, it should be at the front office who resigned him knowing he had this neck condition

    @B Rus yeah, I wouldn’t want to see that either. It just seems that Pete or whoever is making the call on injuries holds players out until they’re 100%. I’m somewhat surprised that they let Russ play this week.
