Pete Carroll Monday Press Conference – September 19

Head Coach Pete Carroll sat with the media to discuss his feelings after evaluating the Week 2 game against the 49ers highlighting that the team could’ve thrown the ball more, that he feels the rookies are really starting to settle in, how the defensive run games needs to be better, and how he wants to just move froward and prepare for Week 3 against Atlanta.

Yeoman Adventures

Thank you for allowing us to hear the questions.

    Dane Orschlovsky

Sad that the only way to make that happen is via Zooming.

Chris S

Let’s get this going! Go Hawks!

    Gordon Garrett

    They won’t win 5 games.
Pete is so full of excuses and bullshit .. He must go.

    Darth Soldier

Let’s get what going? We will probably be 1-9 going into the bye

Taylor needs to do better at setting the edge. Teams keep running to his side until we/he cleans it up Teams will keep doing it. Also we gotta do better at play action and using the run to use play pass

Barry AKA Vann T

I think this had to happen we were too high after that first week. As silly as that sounds we have a too young if a team and need to learn a loooot

If geno doesn’t put points on the board after this game. It’s time for Drew lock. He struggles to put points on the board just like in preseason. Drew might throw more interceptions but at least he puts points on the board.

Lazy beach bum

Odd turnovers gave them scoring drives. That RB throw was a head scratcher.

Nolan Worley

Love being able to hear the questions. Well done !!

Aaron Ray

Excited for us getting a Top 15 pick, maybe even a top 10 pick with the Broncos struggling and being in a TOUGH division.

eugene de guzman

All he needs to say about the oline is “ they need to block better” 🤣

Ryan Clausen

We’re at our best when we get Dissly and the TEs the ball!!

Correy Thomas

Need to use 3 tight end sets. Worked great in the Denver game. Would of worked against 49ers game too if it would of been done.
Want to see it used in Atlanta game

TNK Studio

The big problem is Seahawks D had no answers for the Broncos and Niners running game. Slopping D!

Jeff Foumal

Go Seahawks 🏈 💙 💚

Spock B

We need Tight Man to Man Coverages from Wide open passes thats killing us, Plus have the backers stop their running attack especially in the pocket. If we dont do it fundementally, We’re gonna be ranked worst in Defense, and all the 12s in the world cant afford to see something that can shock us or leaving us livid.

Zach Jones

We are going to have 2 top 10 picks and it’s going to be glorious.

Chris Richards

that’s pretty hard to do in a 3-4 defense you only got three guys going up against five guys so you got two guys free to come after the linebackers.

Chris Richards

I don’t understand they didn’t use their tight ends at all in this game they were sure successful against Denver I don’t know why they didn’t keep doing it it seemed to work quite well.

Cade Ball

pete said all off season, we are going to be a run first team. 14 carries for 36 yards doesn’t seem to be a run first mentality. Geno should never be throwing 30 times a game. He isn’t built for that and his decision shows that 24 completions for 197yds and a 6.6yd average a throw isn’t going to cut it. Only upside is Lockett going for over 100. Everything else was atrocious.

Also DJ Dallas is not a QB that trick play cost us a touchdown in the red zone, piss poor play call.

Don Lewis

Been here with y’all good times and bad times…Go Hawks
