This is a make or break draft for this organization, they can’t afford any misses this go around We’ve had too many sub par drafts as of late….they need to nail this one.

    @The Truth As I Know It I understand the point your making and qb is important it goes without saying but teams that prioritize QB over everything else don’t have a good track record we had a great QB and team for years and only went to 2 Superbowls it’s a journey to get there and we had similar talent last year and Wilson and still were struggling big time. So I’m sorry bro I think Pickett isn’t much better than Willis, ridder, or Howell. His numbers were great but we have way more pressing need. All the qbs you mentioned only one of them has a SB. Gotta have a great team.

    I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Yea they definitely need to hit on picks and there is a lot talent at multiple positions this year (@ position they have major needs for) so you definitely want a good class. But I don’t think theyre on the hot seat in Seattle aslong as they’re not totally trash. Seattle is one of the franchises that like to hold onto a good thing for as long as possible. Much like the Patriots and Steelers. So I think they still show a lot of enthusiasm and still understand the league and how it’s changed and are able to adapt. I give them at least two more seasons to get back to being a top contender in NFC

    Yeah this year, after every seahawks pick I dont want to here from all the experts “That was a reach. I expected him to go in the 4th round instead of the 2nd” etc.

    If they trade down thats fine but dont be drafting players 2 or 3 rounds earlier than expected this time.

At the end of the day, Russ wanted out so we were forced to move on. While his unhappiness with being in Seattle was all rumors at the time, I’m happy that he didn’t fully air out his frustrations in public so that we could get a nice haul in return on the deal. I was hella bummed when Russ left and Bobby got cut, but now I’m getting excited to start a new chapter and really excited about the draft. I want Sauce Gardner #1 so bad.

That “juice” is when you know your job is on the line haha. Nah I’m excited. It’s was time to move on from Russ. The team is bigger than anyone player. Someday it will be time to move on from Pete and John too. But excited to give them one more shot to build the vision.
