Good pick. On to Day 3! #gohawks

Life'saBeach

He had something like a 22 YPC average over his last 75 catches so I don’t hate this

    Robert Smith

Over 20 YPC for his whole college career if you take out his freshman season.

Sam

Did everyone forget Ethan Pocic exists?

    Solar Flexer 2

He is serviceable, not great. Would still like to see an upgrade at some point

    Jake Mason

No, I didn’t forget about Aaron Donald’s son

    Ryan Staiger

@Sam you’re not listening, he doesn’t have the skill set to play center the way the team wants

graham peebles

Nothing against Eskridge but having a good WR with a bad line is worse then a ok WR with a good line and creed was still on the board look at the chiefs they had issues with their line and fixed it for their QB but the Seahawks try to get a WR3 in the second round

    Ryan Staiger

We just need a center, it’s not like the whole O-line sucks. 4/5 of our starting linemen are solid

    Sholtzi

O-line was ranked 15th last year without the Gabe Jackson signing, they weren’t the problem. Russ cant see over the trenches, so he has to leave the pocket. Once you leave the pocket the O-line cant protect you.

    Jesse Bond

@Sholtzi completely agree with that one.

    Jesse Bond

@Sholtzi russ also holds the ball way to long and takes them 15 20 yard sacks

Justin Matias

Wish we chose Melifonwu tbh

Luke Huelsman

I think it’s a great pick. There’s some Golden Tate there. Shane Waldron is more than likely going to scheme the ball getting out of Russell’s hands faster. With the speed outside, the threat of Russell running, using reverses and Chris Carson running the ball I think it’s a good pick. The style of play is going to be different from what we’ve been used to over the past 10 years. It will be much more up tempo. People seem to forget Freddie Swain is going into his second year so it’s not absolutely necessary for D’Wayne to be the WR3 immediately. D’Wayne will be used as a returner and has the potential to change the field position consistently. I think he’s going to.

    Jozz Wheeden

They did need more help out of the slot, surprised Usua never got some run there.

    Luke Huelsman

@Jozz Wheeden I think with the kind of year it was he just didn’t get consistent opportunities and David Moore is a good slot WR. Ursua also got put on covid pup.

    Jesse Bond

@Luke Huelsman didn’t we waive ursua last year?

    Jesse Bond

@Luke Huelsman also I know for a fact Moore left

    Luke Huelsman

@Jesse Bond Moore left this year. So I’m not sure what you’re saying. Ursua was brought back in January and put on the practice squad.

brian griffith

We needed a lineman also when we picked Golden Tate in the second round. We needed a lineman when we picked DK Metcalf in the second round. We needed a lineman when we picked Tyler Lockett in the second round. It’s worth it to get the guy you believe in.

    I like to watch NFL

    Lockett was 3rd round

    Jesse Bond

Well said. Embed of the 76ers says it best. Trust the process

    brenden nelson

We needed an o lineman when we drafted malik mcdowell, we needed an o lineman when we drafted lf collier, we needed an o lineman when we drafted marquise blair. I think the trend we can point out is that is the seahawks will never take the o line seriously and russ’ career will be shortened.

    Mike T.

seems we always need o line and never take it to me ^^

    brenden nelson

    @Mike T. yup! Agree

memphismayfireFTW

Yo I’m excited for this guy! We have legit 4.3s all across the board leggo 💪

Chris Miner

🗣️They wanted to compare Eskridge to Percy Harvin which was our X-Factor on going to and winning the Superbowl.. Much needed Juice 💯💯

    Chris Miner

    @Vestinct K 👍

    Jesse Bond

Ok maybe a tad similar in height and speed….. but come on Harvin didn’t have anything to do with our superbowl win.

    Patrick Morehouse

Uh no it was Tyreke hill

    Divine Comedy

@Vestinct yeah he’s closer to Tyreek Hill. More explosive and a way better route runner than Harvin. Harvin was soft compared to this guy

    Jazzy Jeff

“…Percy Harvin which was our X-Factor on going to and winning the Superbowl.” Um, what? Percy Harvin played in TWO GAMES prior to the Super Bowl and they were already on their way to winning long before his kick return in the Super Bowl. He was a non-factor.

Yohon

Okay now we have another ex-quarterback, wide receiver, defensive corner, why doesn’t Pete Carroll have more trick plays in his pocket? He’s got all this damn talent and he’s not using it I better see some more trick plays!

    BrandonTS95

pete has input but he doesnt solely pick these guys

lyrical listener

Freddie punching the air right now

    SICKO MODE

Freddie still going to be part of this offense, we bout to be deep at WR

Andrew Nguyen

Can’t wait for our Trio Go Hawks! 💙💚

We Kill Dragons

Once he has the ball in his hands he’s like a fast running back. He’s great for YAC. Schneider wanted to compare him to Percy “Super Cancer” Harvin but he can’t for obvious reasons. We need him on jet sweeps and end arounds. Perfect for drag routes and crossing patterns. He’s going to be a terrific slot wr. We need an explosive KR/PR and he’s a good fit.

Roger Keast IV

Pete be cracking jokes about his own word choice. Schneids be looking at the camera like an absolute macho dawg.

    Roger Keast IV

    Perfect combination.

Roger Keast IV

I love how Pete asked John if he could take a question. He just loves to talk and has so much fun even in a boring, dry press conference.

    Roger Keast IV

He also seems to be smiling constantly.

Roger Keast IV

They vibe so well together.

Nathan Markin

Corner back, special teams, running back and wr. He’s gonna be an amazing player

Dylan Mann

💙🙌💚

Eric Holman

I’d happily fix the audio issues of these video. Go Hawks!
