I think our coaches did a good job and got guys we may have playing for us for a few winning years I’m happy with our Draft and I have been a season ticket holder from our first season

am I the only one confused what John meant when he said they received a memo from the NFL saying they couldn’t comment on the QB acquisition from Washington State??? what is going on??

The Hawks GM and Coach Pete always got good angles on players in the draft and I’m pretty sure a couple these players will become great.

I do have to say our front office is one of the best in the NFL. Really good talent from top to bottom (although there is no bottom, just more strength )

I really liked this draft than compared to seasons in the past, or even last year. We’ll see how 6 regular seasons in will be. But, I’d expect defense to be better with the defense picks! Hopefully, the running backs return and better. With Greg Olsen in I am excited to see the tide end pass plays this season!

Hoping they’d talk about Anthony Gordon, wonder why the nfl told them not to

Wish we had more draft picks to get more talent to draft an OT, and slot corner. This draft was full of OT’s was there atleast 1 or 2 they could have drafted?, instead of going crazy on the TE position which was not a strength of this draft!, and they didn’t get one that can block, is this a sign that they are possibly changing up the offense a bit? Plenty of slot corners too, they only have one on the roster in Amadi, need to increase competition there. Dline was not addressed, again could have atleast spent 1 pick on that one instead of in the 4th, well hopefully we can strike gold in UDFA again!

I am getting sick and tired of Pete staying in base def, in order to do that, ur pass rush better be consistent/good and also your LB’s better be able to cover the pass well! And staying in base all the time makes you predictable!, you will get exploited against the better teams!
We need to get back to our original way of having extra db’s who can cover and tackle!

Love the team, and usually feel confident with Pete and John, but have to say this still shocked with your first round choice. You must see something I don’t, well, other than a future replacement for KJ Wright… But when it feels like it could finally be your year again I still can’t see why. This year’s draft choices rated a D from many.

I will say this, 3/4 ‘s of our draft picks can make this team, which is pretty cool that Pete and John worked hard to evaluate with the mentality of being pro ready due to possible shortened season which is forward thinking on their part! However, our TE position is already overloaded with too much competition where they could have addressed that in the later rounds or UDFA (which they have been successful almost every year) instead so that they can address other positions of more need earlier ie., OT, DT, and slot corner! We did not really need to even address the wr this draft due to signing Dorsett!, UDFA could of solved it, in other words they reached a lot too early! In the mid rounds and sacrificed more pressing needs!

It is always better to draft quality over quantity. I know the Hawks only had 8 draft picks, but notice the type of players they’ve picked. Seem to already have a well rounded tough pedigree. Most from pro style programs. These seem to be very good quality picks. Go Hawks! Well done John and Pete!
