I honestly think we are playing the way we are to help our defense out. We are running the ball more and trying to control the clock and time of possession. And that leaves our defense off the field more and gives em rest. I really hope they open it up a little more. But, something is off with russ, especially on the deep balls. His accuracy isn’t there and I’m curious if its his confidence. All that mvp talk put a lot of pressure on him and he tried to make mvp type plays every down. Amd made a ton of mistakes and so now he’s trying to play real conservative and not make mistakes. Back to being a game manager, not the let russ cook guy from opening of the season

Unfortunately, easier said than done now. Defenses in the league know how to shut down or at least make those explosive plays much harder to come by for Russ/DK. What Bills, Cards, Gaints and Rams did in common was the DBs and high safeties “looks” that forced Russ to hesitate, delay release or scramble that often blew things up before DK or other receivers could even make a play. Can only hope Seahawks have learned their lessons plenty at this point and made adjustments accordingly.
