He should go back to linebacker coach after the season. He’s a good coach but not a good play caller

@Big Tings People are saying that Pete doesn’t like firing his coaches or firing them mid season, so okay, don’t fire him and just send him back to LB coach and let him keep a job as you said. Pete needs to know that we aren’t using the players on defense right! and if nothing changes, then that = No Super Bowl. If he isn’t gonna do ANYTHING then this season is over already here in November. I don’t like being negative about the team but it’s time for everyone to wake up and accept that sad reality.

Please save our season by giving him the boot! He’s just awful.

Bring back dan quinn

The real problem is not Ken, but Pete and his antiquated defensive scheme. Every team that uses is getting exposed! That is why Dan Quinn, Gus Bradley, Kris Richard all got fired! Quinn isn’t the answer as he will just still do the same thing. We need to bring in someone that is going to introduce a whole new system. Unfortunately with Pete getting his contract extended, expect terrible defense for 5 more years! 🙁

@Diego Kusaka it’s not Ken’s scheme! It’s Pete Carroll’s defensive scheme. Ken is just Pete’s puppet.

@Joe Lee – Pete Carroll it’s not innocent. He is partially at fault. But the incompetent schemes put together by a defensive coordinator that thinks like a linebacker coach is killing us & will throw this season to the gutter.

@Diego Kusaka you are giving Ken too much credit. What I’m trying to tell you is that this is Pete’s scheme, not Ken’s. Ken just executes and calls the game plan and schemes that Pete sets up. That is the issue. Even if Dan Quinn comes in, he will call Pete’s scheme. Last game, Pete was even calling blitz plays and getting burned! This is what happens when your HC is a defensive coach. Ken is just Pete’s puppet.

@Joe Lee you may be right, but even then ken is calling certain ones at horrid times, he needs to pick what damn setup would be best for certain looks and get that into bobby, i dont think he can handle that type of roll. Quinn would and do a much better job of it.

dude he’s been lazy af… plays at half speed just walking around… and all of his interceptions are him being in the right spot at the right time not him making a play.. its time to give someone else a shot

Diggs had a great game against the Niners,the safeties are not the issue here,the play calling for the D and having a good C.B. out is all you need to take heavy damage against somebody like Josh Allen.The one player I was dreading being injured in our Superbowl run on our D was Sherman,with him out it would have been a much weaker defence,Peyton Manning would have picked on that relentlessly.

What the hell can diggs do when he has literally the 2 worst corners in the league giving up 10 yard pass plays on either side of the field and then jamal is basically blitzing non stop and not helping in coverage hahaha he is literally back there on his own watching this horrible play calling. All he can do is try and make a tackle once flowers or dunbar get burnt.

Maybe if we have decent coverage from corners and decent play calling and an actual strong safety helping in coverage instead of showing blitz non stop diggs can start committing to attacking the ball again! Like he did the end of last season and like he did before getting ejected, he has to babysit non stop and its killing his ability to do anything

They still try to somewhat run the 2013 defensive scheme but that simply doesn’t work with our current personnel.

Don’t be drawn in by yardage stats though,very misleading,the points given up is very ugly but in our Wins the opposite Offence has been forced into throwing the ball up and down the field,as our D was playing “bend but don’t break” in order to keep the clock ticking.

@Jimmie John it already is atrocious its been since week 1 when we led up 450 yards THATS NOT EVEN TOTAL YARDS ALLOWED THATS JUST PASSING YARDS ALONE they let up 500+ in 1 game I’m pretty thats top5 worst week 1 defense in history and nd is the worst defensive play in week 1 this year

Most of our pressure was from blitzing the whole squad. However, Dunlap’s sack and one of his tackles for loss was entirely just him beating his guy and finishing a play. So I agree with you but temper your expectations for pressure when teams adjust for Dunlap and our blitzes

Really? When you blitz 7, sometimes 5, and 6, but you still give up 44 points…THAT’S NOT GOOD.

I said if after week 2, if Russ isn’t close to perfect, we will lose. Case in point…both loses.

I hope they do. I’m willing to lose 1 or 2 more games if it means firing ken norton. Its s guarantee we arent going to the superbowl but without him theres still a chance.
