Pete play calling been real questionable

    voteZDLR

@dbsti 300 Dalton and Taysom are getting reps for a reason. Jameis does need recovery time, but one or two days isn’t going to mean that much in the end. If you are suggesting him missing two days of practice is why he was performing poorly in the past… uhhh what?

Drew Brees was good at reading the field. Jameis Winston isn’t. This isn’t new. It has nothing to do with coaching, it may have something to do with play calling but even Drew could change things up on the fly. I think play calling is part of it but that still points to the fact that Winston is a mediocre QB in the NFL. He always has been, he always will be. IMO better to nip that in the bud sooner than later unless we are intentionally sabotaging the next two seasons for better draft picks 3 years from now.

    dbsti 300

@voteZDLR For the past 2 weeks, Jameis is listed as DNP. That means he’s missing significant time with his offense. Plenty enough to cause a losing season. Jameis has a better arm, but Dalton has more time with the offense. I can’t stress that enough.

    dbsti 300

@voteZDLR Brees did this and that, but New Orleans isn’t getting another Brees for a long time. Most fans I think settled for whoever can make the right amount of plays to move the ball downfield while the D puts them into good field positions. Jameis certainly did that last season and then some.

    dbsti 300

@voteZDLR His performance being poor in the past is the same story as many QBs who started shitty, then became great. It’s just that for some reason, since the invention of social media, people have become very opinionated while not knowing anything about a particular subject. They repeat themselves over one bad story and hold on to that bad story to keep using it no matter where that person goes or what that person does. People are stuck on the Jameis Int. thing and nothing will waiver them. He could win a superbowl, and he throws 2 picks the next season he will only be labeled as the interception guy instead of SB champ. That’s why I’m over that stuff. Winston’s success was linked to Sean Payton as coach, but now that’s not happening. As of now, its about winning with or without Jameis.

    SL

I think its because of the qb. Qb is limited. He always has been

Raymond Baio

STOP RUNNING KAMARA LIKE HE’S DERRICK HENRY. YOU NEED SHORT OVER THE MIDDLE OR SIDELINE THROWS TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO MAKE SOME MOVES. OFF TACKLE UP THE MIDDLE RUNS ARE NOT WHAT HE’S SUITED FOR. HOW THE HELL AM I NOT AN OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR IN THIS LEAGUE

    R B

    I agree πŸ‘

    WHODATNATION

I said the same thing last WEEEK!!!!!!⚜️⚜️⚜️

    B Wheel

So you don’t want him to run at all got it

    R B

@B Wheel Saints need a big full back 250lbs or bigger! Kamara is a half back better at catching the ball and speed πŸ˜‰ Ingram is to little also!

    PraiseGod

@R B we need AJ Dillon

Ghoul_Wizard

I would love to see some formations with Olave and Calaway together

MONT-DOGG

All those years as the offensive coordinator under sean payton i’ve never heard pete carmichael talk until now

    Dont-buy DELL

    and now we know why…

    MONT-DOGG

    @Dont-buy DELL πŸ˜‚

    Chris Carter

Yep there a reason Payton hid him from the media

    Miles from New Orleans

He makes a good impression! Smart fellow. From his accent you can tell he comes from the East Coast.

    504 Bull

Because he was just the juicy fruit guy.

Tony Blea

First play running back lose two yards second play running back again lose two yards third down pass quarterback gets sacked fourth down punt again

    carter1431

    Yep very predictable offense.

    A Lightworker

The play is call first and Kamara. Even high school teams know its coming that’s how predictable it is now

Kracka Joe

They need to review some of Winston’s 5-2 games last year and call those plays. They have better receivers now too. Has Kamara lost a step???

    John Agapos

    Kamara’s been injured; not 100%.

    voteZDLR

Translation: “We need to get on our knees and beg Sean to return”. Sean was the offensive playcaller. Ask yourself this, why is it only just now most likely you’re even hearing about Pete who has been here for YEARS. The same reason you probably couldn’t name the defensive coordinator we have now by name. Either way, if Sean was here we’d have a much different looking offense because he wouldn’t tolerate this crap.

    Miles from New Orleans

Didn’t look like it in training camp at all. It could be that his rib injury from week one has slowed him down. I know from experience that the ribs take a long time to heal.

    dbsti 300

No, Kamara is in his prime right now. Pete Charmichael has no idea how to use him correctly. Since the coach left, the offense is lackluster. After a snap, Kamara is always hanging back trying to help out Winston when he sees trouble. He even at times makes blocks to try to open his QB up. Sometimes you see Kamara come back in closer and signal Jameis that he’s open if the deep reads fail. Kamara wants to win. They’re just figuring themselves out in the post Sean Payton era by the way it looks.

    Jay Els

Jameis can’t run that’s the only difference.

Kenny Domino

I don’t have any problem with the Run game

Translation:
It’s the guy in control of the whole offense not the running backs

    PraiseGod

You must be new to this, new orleans saints OL hasn’t moved an above average DL in the run game in about 3+ years! Defenses are stacking the box.

If they stop stacking the box vs Andy then okay, but we have to see that first.

You can blame jameis for a lot, I won’t argue. But now he’s the problem for the run game?🀣

Damn is #2 holding lutz back?? Is #2 the reason we have the worse pass rush in the nfl right now? Asking for a friend

William James

They never ask the right questions

Robert kraus

They should play Andy Dalton. Let James Winston rest

    dbsti 300

Dalton has way more practice reps than Jameis anyway. Dalton by default is at least more familiar with the receivers than Winston at this point. He’s not injured, and he can read defenses. Mind you, Andy led the Bengals to success before Burrow came.

    BBRAND

Dalton all the way needs to be playing he’s that veteran presence on the team and I think the offense would be so excited to have him out there and the defense would be on the sideline resting like their supposed to do and not havin dang 3 and outs every 30 seconds

Justin Williams

I hear the Winston tears falling 🀣

    dbsti 300

It makes me sad to be totally honest. I really like that guy. Jameis has heart and wants to win so bad. Its the same story like RG3. Good arm. Good talent. Good heart. However, always injured and products of bad coaching. Under Payton, that was Winston’s ticket to success going by how well he played last season. Winston was probably getting excited to learn under Brees and Payton, just for both of them to leave and now he seems directionless. I really do feel for Jameis.

Paradise Living

This dude is the reason we’re losing so much his plays are too predictable for the defense I can kind of see that Sean Payton was more of the offensive than this dude he knew what plays to call for certain situations that made very little mistakes Sean Payton is the best there ever is these two can’t fill the shoes

    SaucyX4 β€’

Nooooo. Well we need more designed plays to Kamara. But Jameis is just missing TD throws.

Chris Carter

Pete runs a predictable high school offense, everyone knows what’s coming, it’s bad.

    dbsti 300

Sean Payton ran that offense it turns out. If this keeps up, Charmichael will lose his job. If there’s one thing the Saints have that’s been better than usual, it’s the front office and Mickey Loomis. Ever since Katrina, they want to win and if Pete gets in the way, he will be removed no mater how long he’s been employed there.

SaucyX4 β€’

All you have to do is look at AK 2017-2020 highlights to know how to use him to his best ability πŸ˜‚

Cedric Brooks

Let’s us show London why they call us the WHO DAT NATION.

Cedric Brooks

Pet is doing a good job of not tell the Media about our quarterbacks. We should play all three of them to confuse the Defense

Seyven Stunna

Do not let Jameis start Sunday…

BBRAND

Looks like we are going to finally be able to see dalton in there playing with Taysum in on some plays as well. This interview just made my freaking day that basically tells you everything right there!!! 😬😬 bounce back

PraiseGod

What’s he more comfortable with???? We about to do that for Andy!! Awesome pete!!

Would be nice if we did that for the first 3 weeks, every game counts for the playoffs!

Elliot Luv

How many times Pete gone say β€œ Plan β€œ and β€œ Plan in place β€œ???!!! Lol

Elliot Luv

At some point didn’t we use Kamara in match up to extend drives???? Put the ball in his hands
