I would _NOT_ go that far though…
I watched nearly every game of Brady’s Patriots era. Football is a _interdependent_ team sport.
Brady is a sports legend, but there were plenty of times when I saw Brady’s individual play or team offenses falter, while Belichick’s defenses or overall teams saved their day(s).
In this 2021 season and postseason (2022), the Bills, with a more dynamic seasoned non-rookie QB and arguably “better” overall roster, were at home avenging a regular season embarrassment.
With a more dynamic, seasoned QB, and better roster (skill positions and all), I’m sure a Belichick game plan and end result woulda been at least better today.
Definitely not gonna ridiculously discredit a coupla decades of Belichick positives because the Bills _finally_ worked their way to a _Wild Card Weekend_ postseason home win against a rookie QB and _arguably_ less dynamic team with less continuity.
Even *during the **_Brady era_** , the Patriots never reached the Super Bowl in a year during which they played on Wild Card Weekend.*

People really thought a coach was more important than a HOF player. Bill is 17-17 since Brady and spent 250 mil to go 10-8 this season.
