The fact that top 4 in passing yards and passing tds, 4800+ passing yards, and almost going to the super bowl is considered a down year shows how great pat Mahomes is.

@Chris Heyward MaCoinFlip choked 4 out of 5 years, he was on the bench learning so it counts as a year just like I’m doing for Brady, Brady won 3 rings in 5 years, MaCoinFlip sucked in the first half during the AFC championship game so there is no sympathy for him losing, Allen played amazing from start to finish and got screwed over, then next week MaCoinFlip played like complete trash in the 2nd half against bengals and wins the toss again in OT, he is the luckiest QB in recent memory, then he throws a INT lol “Pafraud MaCoinFlip” not to mention he almost fumbled trying to be the hero hahaha, give me anyone besides MaCoinFlip going forward and I’ll take it

From a bills fan let me defend these dudes a little. KC in 4 years played in 4 AFC championship games and 2 superbowls. Add in the fact this was a 17 game season. That’s a ridiculous amount of football in 4 years and hard on the players. No shame in just running out of gas after that stretch of success.

No he didn’t lose it all by himself. Andy Reid didn’t help with his 💩 play calling. Jerrick McKinnon had 65 yards on 12 carries but Reid only ran six times total in the 3rd and 4th? Clyde also had 36 rushing yards on 6 carries himself.
Travis did have a big drop and so did Hill but Mahomes had a golden opportunity at the 5 yard line in the 4th with less than 50 seconds and he went backwards. That’s on Pat!!!
Pat either choked or threw the game. Also Andy refuses to use his interior offensive line to just bang it in up close. I’ll put 55% of the blame on Mahomes. 35% on Andy Reid and the rest on the Steve Spagnolo and his insisting on playing dime with those scrubs Dan Sorensen and Ben Neiman. Willie Gay should never be taken off the field.

I thought there were 4teams that were winning the Super Bowl this year (starting the postseason)- I put a lot of money on them, in different ways. Chiefs and Bills in AFC. actually the game they played I couldn’t call it, so I just went super over. and literally said the winner of that is 100% going to Super Bowl. in nfc, I thought it was all about rams or packers. im down to 1, lmao. goes to show, no guarantees in football. thankfully I hedged but man, what a choke job after such a great comeback vs bills.
As a Bengals fan, you guys played great. You guys are by far one of the best teams this season. Can’t wait to meet you guys again next year in the playoffs. Respect to Mahomes and your team.

I’ve been a Cincy native, and a Bengals fan, my whole life. This was a great game, and much respect to Mahomes and the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes was one of the first guys to wish Burrow well last year when he got hurt and was out for the rest of the season. …and Robert, we don’t have any hate for KC, Burrow grew up a KC fan, so why you hatin’ on us brother? Let’s rally behind the AFC to win the SB!

The offense that went into the locker room at halftime for the Chiefs couldn’t have been the same offense that came out. That second half was so disappointing, so disappointing. It’s like the Chiefs did not want to win.

@Doug Smith exactly, they were dominating and then got told in the second half that they had to throw the game. No other reason why mahomes would stop throwing the ball away and intentionally let himself get sacked for 20+ yard losses, as well as stopping to make any pass attempts
The score was just 7 points different than the first meeting, KC up by 11 at the half and The Bengals win by a field goal! What are the chances!!??

@Jody Lancaster Every team has a future. It’s not just the Bengals. Yes, the Bengals had a good season, but they may sink again next season. No one knows for sure. At least Mahomes already has one ring and has been to the championship four years in a row.
When you throw the interceptions that led to 11 points, it is pretty clearly your fault. I guess it is nice that he owned it, but I would rather see him pick up his play at some point during the second half. He threw that game away and did it with the clock stopped, which was the worst thing possible. The Chiefs could have run the ball three times and punted in the second half, and been better off than what they did in that game.
As a Bucs fan I was cheering for you guys, it’s strange that we both experienced heart break by 3 points. It would have been nice to have met in the Super bowl again.

This is exactly your standard. The Chiefs typically rely on Mahomes to pull off all games, especially “big” games, late. The lesson is you play with a sense of urgency ( when up 21-3) before it becomes a sense of urgency. Congratulations to the Bengals !

As much as this hurts me to see, I am simply amazed he let us to the AFC championship this year. It looked incredibly rough early on, but with how Mahomes’ has improved with his patience and taking what’s given to him, I think the league should definitely still be scared to play the chiefs

@herb petrillo what’s shady about Brady. Science proved he didn’t deflate the footballs. And it just came out that the NFL tracked football pressure the next year and the results showed that footballs lose pressure during the game because of the weather and the NFL got rid of the results. It’s common sense anyways. It’s called the ideal gas law. That’s why If you fill your car tires when it’s warm out and the temperature drops overnight your car tire light is on in the morning because the tire pressure dropped. The same thing with footballs. They are filled in the locker room at a temperature of 80 and then tested and then brought to a field of 10 degrees or less sometimes and after two or 3 hours at the temp and the ideal gas law the football will lose pressure.

Thanks, Chiefs players and staff for not giving up this year and giving us fans something to cheer for each week. Including, the NFL for giving us a great season and closing with everyone staying healthy or recovering from it during this time of global crisis. If the Chiefs had kicked a fieldgoal at the end of the first half, they would have been up 24 to 3 which would have won the game! Mahomes got too greedy then choked in the second half.
Oh bullshit he had the whole right side opened and could have ran it in the end zone, but yet he threw to Tyreek. His rating dropped so fast and that’s never happened before he had to throw that game and did not wanna score
The whole team looked like they lost their best friend from start of 2nd half. Sure looks like it was thrown. Starting to believe these guys that compare the NFL to WWE.
Patrick threw this game. No one can tell me otherwise. There were moments when he could have run the ball himself, but he chose to run around in circles instead. There were opportunities to pass to receivers that he didn’t take. Then he threw to the weakest receiver twice. Losing on purpose is the only reasonable explanation. Id rather watch pee wee football at this point.
Lost confidence in the second half, tried to make big plays, not smart plays. He blew it!!
It’s always good to see these guys come out and be insightful and actually engage with the media so soon after having their heart ripped out in a loss like this. It shows real maturity as a leader! I hope they can keep this team together for another run!
He needs a hotter girlfriend/wife who isn’t wacky. That’s his problem. Why do so many top athletes stay with mediocre-looking women? Beyond me.
