@Daniel At least his run game and defense were able to carry him. I wish the Chiefs could bail out Mahomes with their defense. It’s be a miracle if we used our capable run game to actually win games.
People pointing out Hurts going 0-2 but not mentioning his 3 TDs on the ground. That’s why stats need contexts. His total yards was 376 with 3 rushing TD’s in a WIN.

Definitely the MVP of the NFL. He’s doing all of this with new receivers and without Tyreek Hill. He’s also playing with average OTs sometimes below average tackle play. Laremy Tunsil seems like the caliber of LT that he should have watching his backside he’s in the last year of his contract with the Texans.

Eagles struggled against Chicago hurts threw 2 int, Dallas lost, etc Texans is still a NFL team as long as they won. Yes things happens in any game and yes defense needs to definitely play better but trust the process they will amp it up in the playoffs when it really matters. Go KC

The refs did an excellent job of keeping Houston in the game during the third quarter. The missed and bogus calls really made for a close game.

The Sunday night game officiating at the end of that game was horrible. NFL refs must be blind. Receiver was mugged in the end zone…yet no flag!
Honestly it is effecting every fan base at this point. Look at those Saturday games. Incredible. What is more alarming, is the lack of accountability in officiating.
That was the point. Keep it close so the Chiefs didn’t cover the spread. At the end, once they knew KC wouldn’t cover, they picked up I think 4 flags. Usually they say “there is no penalty for XYZ on the play.” But they just picked them up saying “there is no foul on the play.”
It wasn’t about preventing KC from winning. It was about preventing KC from covering the spread.
The winning TD was a gimme, too. Houston just said eff it (a field goal would have won it anyway, but with Butker…)
So you put 10 in the box knowing it’s a run. The RB stops. Makes 1 move. Runs 26 yards untouched. Right.
The Chiefs were going to win. But they had to make it so people didn’t go rake leaves or something (TV ad revenue drives the salary cap, after all).
And Vegas had to make its money.

McKinnon has been ballin almost like he was doing at the Niners years ago. He must have been playing hurt or injured until recently. He can’t ball from the bench, so hopefully they will keep him on the field more often come playoff time. Got a feeling they will need him.
Kinda got the sense on the final play that Houston knew any score would win it and just said, “Eff it. Let’s go home.”
