Ngoukwe could’ve clobbered Mahomes but he didn’t. Looked close enough that in an earlier era, the Raider player would DEFinitely have made Mahomes pay for getting rid of it with him that close.
Those tackles have Patrick on a short leash. It was good to see him get more time more often. I’ll have to sit and watch the All-22, but sticking with the run is giving him a better play fake. They’re running hard and stubborn, inside. It reminds me of the Arizona Cardinals the last year Todd Haley was their OC. Keep handing it off, with strong enough threats to be taken seriously, even if you’re only making 2 yards when it’s properly defended.
The team that won SB LIV would just r’ar back and th’ow. This team kind of has to set up for the play-action on early downs, and give those OTs some help, to give Mahomes more time, more frequently.

I’m went to this game, a lot of good plays on both sides of the ball, great performance from the chiefs as they hold a team to just 3 points in the first half of a game 3 straight times and just nine points in total at the end of the game, they’ve done it to the Cowboys, Broncos, and now Raiders. Go Chiefs!
