I think Lions fans can feel good even though they didn’t get the #1 pick because imo building a “never give up” culture is more important than a slightly better chance at a star player

As a packers fan I gotta give the lions respect for not tanking for the first pick… If the packers will ever be in that type of a rebuilding situation I hope they will tackle it the same way as the lions did this year under MCDC by playing tough and showing heart ✌
Lions have been rebuilding for fifty years. There are expansion teams that have joined during that time the have super bowl rings. As long as the Ford family owns the team, they will be mediocre.

Lions earn a french fan now, I watched them all this year , playing, being unpredictable, giving bumps shots with their plays. I predict great succes for this team if they can keep the core intanct and nurture this mojo. Give them 3 years at last and be sure to watch them topping the charts.
On the other hand, all nfc contenders must feel the danger, the packers are now aware, they will not let their guard down after this surprising defeat. GG lions.
Dont expect this kind of stuff if they start winning though. The only reason Dan is doing all the trick plays and going for it on 4th or fakes is because they had nothing to lose. If they start like 5-2 or something like that you wont be seeing it nearly as much

Even though they have had a terrible season, the Lions have been one of my favourite teams to watch. They’ve got a lot of heart and have been competitive in a lot of games this season. Most of their loses they haven’t been turned over.
And they’ve called crazy-fun plays in ridiculous situations all season long. At least they’re entertaining, unlike most bad teams which are super boring to watch.

As a Packers fan this was a game well played. It was exciting to watch. All those plays the Lions pulled off were amazing. Like the announcer said it was as if we were playing a game of Madden! haha GG Lions GG

As much as I slander my Detroit Lions each year, but this season I can actually say that they tried their hardest to win games. They earn my respect back after this game. Now they just gotta build and keep having that “ Never Give Up “ Mentality.

This is one of my favorites, if not my favorite lions team ever. These guys lost narrowly game after game, but they kept giving it their all. These guys make me proud to call myself a lions fan.
Respect to lions to what they are trying to create. Keep going and believing
They had some terrible blowouts but I agree that this team is one of my favorites. It’s nice actually liking your coach
They beat 2 playoff teams, and most of their losses were SUPER narrow. On any given day, they could beat anyone.
As a Packers fan, I’m positive that Detroit will come back hard af next season. Much respect for them showing that they cannot be walked all over no matter who they play.
This Lions team definitely never lays down and dies, they got beat a lot but they made the other team earn it

To finally watch this team play as a well-oiled machine gives me hope for next season. I think we’ve finally got the right combination of players, coaches, and confidence.
As a packers fan I enjoyed watching the Lions bring out trick plays on us. I love Amon Ra St Brown too. This team shows so much effort and they truly try their hardest every season.
When the Steelers gave the Lions their first semblance of success this season, I was humiliated, now I see the Lions weren’t the worst team in the league. The best 3-13 team I’ve ever seen.
They could of had 9 wins but a mixture of injuries bad play calling costed them wins. I believe dan has gotten better at his 4th down calls and when to go for 2 his aggressive is unmatched and if he can get a good Balanced offense if dan has developed has a head coach maybe this team can be something. Keep in mind Detroit should of swept Chicago and minnesota.
