Unfortunately no. And he’ll have exactly what he had in Philly, nothing. He’ll have the best o line and defense, but no name, practice squad receivers are what he’ll be throwing to.

I’m going to miss Brissett. Wentz played like trash last year, and making him the starter is incompetent and irresponsible. Brissett was 5-2 with 14 TDs, 3 Ints and a 65% completion rate before his injury in 2019. Wentz was near the bottom of the NFL in most categories in 2020. Depending on using Voodoo to get good play at the QB position two years in a row is a clownish move.
@Captain Everyman well if were going by that we they have a couple more years Polian didn’t win the super bowl tell his 9th year as gm and Dungy not tell his 5th year coaching the colts and i would say being the best drafting team in the NFL is an accomplishment

@John A. Zoidberg was just about to say this. Despite two hall of fame pass rushers, and the best QB ever, they won one title. Peyton’s ninth year, and they also got their asses clapped by some teams in the playoffs. 41-0 to the Jets. So making that comparison is dumb
@John A. Zoidberg it’s not. If you’re the “best drafting team”, which is totally subjective, then what they’ve done on the field is gross underachievement.
@karim he sure wasn’t in 2020. Brissett, again, was 5-2 through the first seven games in 2019 before he got injured. He had 14 TDs, 3 INTs and 65% completion rate with a 7th ranked red zone efficiency. If Wentz can do better than that in his first seven games I’ll be astounded.

Wasn’t my first choice, but I believe Carson can turn it around. I know frank loves him, but I also think Ballard wouldn’t make this move if he didn’t have some conviction as well. Also, I don’t know if we colts fans know how lucky we are to have Larra Overton on our side 😬

Rivers looked terrible in 2019, but Reich turned him around in 2020. Wentz is more talented than Rivers rn. You’ll be fine.

Talked about weapons. I don’t really see any at WR. Too much uncertainty. And what about pass rush? Concerning. And don’t come at me for being anti Ballard. I love him. But the lack of addressing the edge position has me concerned. Same with corner.
