Why didn’t Mike McCagnan understand that simple concept? If you have a great O-Line your RB has more holes to run thru, your WR, have more time to run their routes. If you have a great D-Line, there are more ways a LB can run and tackle, your CB’s have less time they need to cover. It seems like a simple truth but magic Mike neglected the Jets O-line for 5 years, the whole time of his tenure it was just an afterthought in his thinking. It’s nice to finally have a GM that is truly going to build from the inside out, with Sam Darnold finally in place maybe we can really become a consistent contender.
