J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets! Hope we get a good cordinator

John G.

I’ll do it. I was pretttttty good at Madden once upon a time.

It just makes sense to get a more proven and experienced guy to run the offense and hopefully he uses a similar system that these players are built to excel in. I do think the system worked. It was the play calling and clock management and execution that struggled and quite frankly if a handful of plays went the Jets way instead of against them this team could still be playing! I say don’t blow this thing up too much! Alot of things were working as the team was 7-4 when healthy so I am confident this team will improve even more next year with a better QB than Flacco and a better OC than MLF.

Mark

Douzable is so knowledgeable. It’s great hearing his perspective on the Jets and the game.

Parting ways with Mike LaFleur was an unwise decision. The Jets had far too many injuries and too little continuity on offense to justify a change in OC.

they fire lafleur and john benton the oline coach when benton had to work with almost 12 different doods. but they keep the qb coach that has no nfl experience and hasn’t done a good job for zach. 2 different times they brought in additional qb coaches and he had his best games. gotta get qb coach right or get an OC who has experience with qbs

Frank Lopez

This is a great take on the whole offense

Frank Lopez

The fans 💯 helped Lafleur make his decision to leave.

I believe our fan base is Zacks problem too

Adam Barran

get an actual nfl caliber qb coach for zach

John Moreno

2 years?? Look at the giants whole new system… where are they right now? Look at Miami.. list goes on it does not take 2 years it takes competent Qb and a Competent play caller.. we have the weapons.

MSal Cavy

Frank could wait a year and have this job. Unfortunately.

Eric Craig

Look… as long as we get someone who has experience as an OC … we don’t need to start over with someone who has no experience… we have a window of opportunity with a lot of talent on offense that are all on rookie contracts… we need an experienced quarterback and OC who can mold the offense… I would rather Ron Middleton over someone who has never called plays in the NFL

oldude979

Thanks for bringing on Leger, one of the people that brings calm to the chaos

Gibby

Why are we even talking about DB when he already took himself out of the running?

Jay Jay

The OC could essentially have the HC job if the year goes bad, they should look at it that way, if they’re considering the job. If the offense is turned around and they barely miss the playoffs, the fans and media would be on board promoting the OC. At that point you would have a team ready to go with 2 yrs in the offense and alterations to the roster.

I’m sure that’s how Saleh is looking at it. Which usually breeds bad hires. The top brass of the org needs to be involved in this hire, and Saleh should contribute to the decision but not control it. If I was deciding upon the org. Tell Saleh he brought in LaFleur, the best man of some wedding, and his friend, and could not bring himself to fire his good friend when he blatantly failed. So this time, he’s getting adult supervision in the hiring process.

nyjay

Douz deserves his own show. He’s better than a lot of analysts out there.

pop smurf

Until they get a qb coach that is serious about developing a qb and nothing else but that we will never get a real franchise qb . The last 1 we had was Chad Pennington and real jets fans remember how that went. Injuries

bill liebold

lever knows football 🏈👍🏻💚🏈

pantherman16

Hire Hackett and start the offensive rebuild already. Stop the paralysis by soft analysis. Having LaFleur was like being in a burning house and arguing if you smelled smoke. Hackett has the resume. Most experienced OC out there. And THIS COACHING STAFF is anemic on EXPERIENCE. Let’s not behave as if we have Justin Herbert available to coach. Sign this dude. NOW. Woody, where the H are you? Out drinking? Roll up your sleeves and get involved.

you should do a podcast episode with some other Jet YouTube Content creators, Check out Jets Talk 24-7. I Think it would be cool to hear a podcast from a fans point of view.
