Hands down the O-line has got to start blocking someone!! Just do your job! It doesn’t matter who the QB is, if they don’t BLOCK

    Xavier Payne

@Josh Keeton Reich is going to see this season through for better or worse with Ryab (worse) and that’s okay to me. What this team really needs to put the Luck saga behind them is fresh blood and a great young QB. That’s the only way I see to move on as a franchise. The bandaid route hasn’t worked and historically, it doesn’t work for anyone. There’s one tried and true method to being great in this league, drafting high at QB until you hit.

    Tommy Fey

@Josh Keeton Facts. Ryan spotting the other team 14 points 2 weeks in a row in the first half isn’t the O lines fault. Throwing your second pick in 4 games to a Defensive Lineman isn’t the O lines fault.

    familyman7sf

For real. That was the case in Atlanta

    Christopher Bryant

All the draft picks on the oline for this… Such a let down..

    Jeffie Daniels

Notice how our ( falcons) oline isn’t being blamed anymore since Ryan has departed and they are playing well. 😂😂😂. Now you guys are blaming your oline like we were. 😂😂😂😂.

It’s not your oline. It’s Ryan. Trust me!!!

Carlos Roldan

He definitely has an opportunity with the fumbles. This is something he never had an issue with. But take a look at the o-line. He’s been sacked close to 20 times already and we’re in week 4!

    Eddie Fannin

Absolutely, you have to go to the root of the cause, which is the offensive line.pryer definitely needs to go,the thing is,colts probably don’t have anybody to replace him,I say put Raimann in his place.

    Kimsational32

Bro, I’m just stopping by to let you know I completely agree with you and have seen the same consistency with Ryan, as well. Fumbling has never been an issue with him, as I said above. I swear; I’m going to have a heart attack if he continues to get sacked and dropped over and over again. ::smh:: Do you think it’s a new team thing, where they haven’t “gelled” yet? I suspect it may be some of it, but his protection has got to get better and the play calling more sophisticated, for lack of a better word. I’d look at every O-liner on my roster to see who’s going to go out and be all in and I’d give them a shot, because it’s so disheartening. Nevertheless, go Colts!

    High5

Sadly a lot of fans are gonna blame Matt Ryan, even crazier they still think Wentz is the answer. My reaction to the Colts getting Matt wasn’t so much excitement b/c I don’t think he’ll win a SB with the Colts. Not b/c of him but b/c the OL has holes. That was a fear coming into the season, the LT is a big hole but serviceable with Pryer. But what surprised me was how bad Pinter has been this season and losing Jack Doyle and his blocking is a huge loss for this OL. Matt Ryan was sold a fools gold with this current OL which is odd considering it’s one of the highest paid OL.

Joaquin Fernandez

This is the team Ballard sold us and we got ripped off.

    Michigan Wolverine's

Ballard is a hell of used car salesman. Sooo frustrated

    Jack Clarke

    Y’all bought it?

    Michigan Wolverine's

    @Jack Clarke unfortunately 😕

    Ben Boyd

    Indeed

    Scott

Colts PR team is A+ tier for sure. They get that right every year.

Cat Man

The colts have many friendly, well-spoken football players, including Reich and Ballard. Seems like that’s all Irsay cares about.

    Justin Carter

that’s the locker room culture being built by Ballard and Reich has less to do with Irsay, IMO

    Mack Demchak

I don’t mind the colts culture. They have, except for this year, performed for the most part when they needed too. However. I hate the goody goody head coaches they bring in. These are men. They need a leader. Not a friend.

    Tavoris Gonzalez

A fake ol patriot moto go Atl

legohunter77

Guys, he’s been very accurate when given time inside the pocket. Sure he has to improve on how to protect the ball when sacked, but honestly it is not his fault getting sacked 6+ times per game. O-Line needs to get it together, cause so far it’s a pile of trash protecting Matt Ryan

    silenced1029

He’s not going to get 5-6 seconds to stand back there regardless of what line he has. I’m not denying the problems with the line but Ryan being a veteran has to take care of the ball even under duress.

    Kimsational32

@silenced1029 I agree that no QB has the luxury of standing back 5-6 seconds before every throw, but look at his release time. He has one of the fastest, just as he did in Atlanta, but guess what? He was plastered over and over during so many seasons that I just honestly wanted to scream. I’m not an armchair QB or one who says they could play any better. I cannot, but I do know football and do know Ryan. He’s intense when there are problems, and he’ll do his best to fix them. As for having decent protection, that’s up to whoever is drafting and/or assigning people to play protective positions. Also, is Ryan allowed audibles, or is someone else calling the too-redundant plays? Even Ryan isn’t above blocking if he’s thrown an interception. I saw him throw his body at the feet of the player who was running the intercepted ball, I think last week. You can check me on that if I’m wrong. If it wasn’t last week, maybe the week prior.

    Chad Carson

Most QBs are very accurate when they have alot of time

Ellis Williams

Please Colts fans stop blaming Ryan when his line is letting him get beaten to a bloody pulp. The line is atrocious this year and his life is in danger nearly every other play.

edit: Ryan threw for 356 yards w/ a 72% completion rating despite his O-line leaving him out for dead out there. I’m really starting to think the key to our success is fixing this oline. Either those starters must improve or Ballard must quickly sign veteran oline depth!

    Ted Yed

Yeah, but it’s also on him since he calls the protections. There are still miscommunication on those play after play going into week 5

    JFRED

Falcon fan here. You never know who you gonna get when you have Ryan for at least the last 5 years. He also makes Olines look worse than they are….

    Justin Nielsen

    @ ATL Chopperz

Exactly! As a Falcons fan I’ve seen 14 years of this nonsense. Dor what he has been paid, Matt Ryan is trash

    Ellis Williams

Lol you Falcons fans are sad, sounds like you guys have been abused by a terrible organization for a long time, I’m genuinely sorry. Just try to remember who the second fastest man in the history of all football to ever reach 60,000 passing yards, his name is Matt Ryan. Guess who’s the fastest of all time? Peyton Manning. Accolades speak louder than salty YouTube comment sections.

    Justin Nielsen

@ Ellis Williams. No qb in the league is passing for the yardage their stats say they are , so no Peyton doesn’t and Matt Ryan definitely doesn’t. Secondly, stats don’t put SB Trophies in the case.
Matt is wasting another teams time

Damon Lopez

Matt ryan has played average overall, even with a terrible O-line. If he wasn’t uncharastically fumbling so much, he’d actually be above average.

The thing is, this team was supposed to be able to compete and win with average qb play because of the run game and defense. So far, the run game hasn’t showed up.

Popeye

The middle of the titans defense was open all game. They were cheating thier linebackers up for the run all game long. We didn’t start utilizing the TE’s. To attack the titans linebackers until we were down 17. pts. Play calling and preparedness wasn’t good. We allowed them Titans to score the first 14 pts off turnovers. This loss is on Frank Reich and the offense. Slow starts and turnovers will lose you games almost every time. The Tight ends on offense and the defense in the second half are the only highlights of this game. Fries was adequate in replacement of Pinter. Now let’s address the situation at left tackle. Kelly and Nelson didn’t have a great day on the O-line because the Titans were bringing the linebackers to stop the run. That’s on Ryan and Reich. No adjustments made until the second half. And that ended up being too late.

Jason Slowiak

It’s always the quarterbacks fault no matter what even if he’s being bulldozed

    Kimsational32

And that’s a ridiculous philosophy in my opinion. I’m not directing any angry comment at you, Jason. I’m agreeing. The whole team just looked discombobulated today. I don’t know if they’re in their own heads or what. Ryan will clean that fumbling up. I sure hope something changes or a connection is made by Thursday, because that’s not going to be an easy ask in Denver and impossible if it looks like today. Go Colts!

Jase Pyle

Colts gotta go 4 wide & let this guy do what he does best & clear the box for JT

    jlateralus21

    He gets 1.8 seconds lol.

    Scott

The gameplan is to go out with big sets, play after play after play, and run into a pile of defenders. Spreading out the defense on run plays makes too much sense for our coaching staff.

    Zack Gurske

@Scott the sad part is you aren’t lying one bit lol

Xavier Payne

This season has been such a let-down. Go Colts!

Soundamite

If the offensive line can wake up in psss protection and run game blocking – Colts are a contender. Until they do that, they’re just average.

Cody Couch

Everybody on here is tripping matt carried us today aside from the fumble. That interception was a freak play you have to give credit to the defense. Our run game was terrible today between our o line not opening holes and jt not making something out the hole he was given. Hate to say it but jt didn’t have his best game today, some plays were blown up from the jump and others he needs to get downhill. This team has the players they just aren’t playing to their potential and you can see it in their body language on the field at times

    Tavoris Gonzalez

    Ryan 2 predictable

    Chris Downes

@Tavoris Gonzalez reich is too predictable you mean

    Atl Chopperz

Take it from a falcons fan, there is Def blame on him. This is what he does!!!! News flash, this is the nfl. The o line can’t prevent every sack. Do yall selves a favor and move on from this bum

    Erick Hicks

@Atl Chopperz Ryan never fumbled this much in atl what are u talking about he still puts up top 5 numbers when getting no time in the pocket

    Erick Hicks

@Atl Chopperz how is it Matt fault? He’s a pocket passer just like brady

king Boxing p4p

This guy leads the league in turn overs

Dylan Martino

I’ve been a Matt Ryan fan since he was drafted by the falcons and I can honestly say that he’s a middle of the pack QB 🤷🏼‍♂️ nothing else more. He’s not mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Brady, Brees, Peyton. Etc. He can’t will a team to a win it just ain’t gonna happen so he needs a good O-line and a good running game to win.

+ the play calling is vanilla and we have no WRs so what do you expect 🤷🏼‍♂️ are offense hasn’t scored more than 20 points

Jermaine Bledsoe

They start to slow & to many turnovers but they seem to play well against good teams which I don’t understand it’s been this way for the last five years now

Chad Morris

I think the Colts need to put on Sam Elinger. I mean it’s not like we don’t have a turn over problem anyway. I would rather have a qb who can move vs someone who fumbles 2 times a game.

Jeffery Parks

Following Matt his whole career. I’ve never seen him have so many fumbles in such short span of time. Definitely out of character

FalEvanfan

I don’t think he ever had a fumble issue, even when playing under bad O lines in Atlanta.

    Jeffie Daniels

We (Atlanta)……Same oline minus a statue, average, immobile QB. Our oline is playing great and we don’t have all the finger pointing! DAMN IM SOOOO GLAD RYANS THE COLTS PROBLEM NOW!!

Will E

We gone bounce back Indy the best has yet to come Slow start 👏🏾👏🏾but keep making plays 👏🏾👏🏾
