Nyheim seems to have the mindset already. It’s nice that the coaches worked on getting his terminology and explaining how the bills terminology works and really making it easier for him
Hines is very intelligent. I’m sure he’ll pick everything up quickly.

I can’t tell you how much I love that we’ve gone from players saying “oh no, I’m going to Buffalo” to “oh yes! I’m going to Buffalo!”. It’s not something I was sure I’d ever see in my lifetime. Kudos to McDermott and Beane on the culture that they’ve built here.
I always felt like playing in Buffalo could be an advantage. You are not going to attract players for the wrong reasons. There isn’t the night life and activities here like in other destination cities. You’re not going to attract players looking for tons of stuff to do off the field. In Buffalo, football is the focus. If a player wants to come here it’s because they want to play football and win. The problem was we haven’t had a consistent winner since basically free agency started in the NFL. Now we do! And we have a top tier QB + HC + GM + team.
@cabalogia Even during the drought years we had a lot of players who ended up coming here and liking the city and people.
