Since when is being a “nice guy” a requisite for getting the job done in a violent sport like football? I’m not being flippant, I’m genuinely asking. His qualifications are severely lacking for such a job, but he’s a “nice guy” is all that matters? When was the last time a 1 year “Assistant Defensive Backs coach” was elevated to Defensive Coordinator?

What did he “dance around?” He said he didn’t know exactly why Jeff picked him, but that a part of it was probably because it didn’t require moving more coaches around. Sounds pretty straightforward to me.

Through all this adversity my big takeaway is that this staff has energy and grit. My only hope this weekend is to see the team fly around and never let up on their intensity. What do we have to lose!
If they go 0-8 the rest of the way, it won’t matter. There are a lot of DC’s, defensive back coaches, WR coaches that have enthusiasm, passion, “energy, and grit.” But that’s not enough for them to become an NFL head coach. Falcons owner Arthur Blank was asked by the NFL media, after promoting Raheem Morris to interim HC in 2020, if would he consider Morris as HC beyond 2020. He said, _”Sure if he finishes 11-0, I’ll consider him a candidate.”_ Somehow I don’t think Jim Irsay is expecting Saturday and his crew to finish 8-0 in order for their services to be retained next season. 4-4 will likely be enough. 5-3 will get them both extended.

What do you think the record for this team will have with these coaches? So eight games left for them to just do anything. I am going to say this coaching staff may end there year with a 4-4 record. So i feel they will defeat 4 teams and lose too 4 teams. Now if they win all there games that would be a shock.
It’s interesting to see so many proclaiming Frazier as the Colts offensive savior based on his presser…What did you expect him to say?! Go watch Reich’s first press conference. He said similar things. Everyone has a great plan until the reality of winning and losing set in. I wish this guy the best.
