Crazy that so many fans are upset with this pick. He brings something to the offense we haven’t had in years. He’s a more physical version of Martavis Bryant. Plus when JuJu leaves and he will we’ll still have 3 good WR’s.

    Jacob Marsaw

juju aint leaving hopefully he’ll stay we need a better backup qb maybe its cam newton mason or hodges cant do it

    jw1

@Jacob Marsaw He’s not leaving now but I can almost guarantee he’ll want more money than either A) He’s worth or B) We’ll be willing to pay. He has to prove he’s a big time #1 WR if he wants big time WR money. I know he’s a likable kid and many won’t like my opinion but he has to stay healthy this season and put up big numbers. Don’t forget we’ll have Dupree’s deal to ponder and we have to pay TJ soon as well.

    Wish I Was Sleeping

I’m very disappointed with Claypool at 49. Terrible value. Steelers have a really bad track record in the draft going back over five years now.

    jw1

@Wish I Was Sleeping LMAO. You’re either trolling or clueless

    Wish I Was Sleeping

@jw1 Sammie Coats. Markus Wheaton. Limas Sweed. Dri Archer. Sean Davis. Artie Burns. Terrell Edmonds(?). There is a reason the Steelers haven’t been to the Superbowl in a decade. It’s the same reason they have missed the playoffs two years in a row. See the above list if you are still confused. They dont retain talented players and they dont draft well. That’s a problem if you want to win football games.

JuiceyMane

claypool is going to be the next santonio holmes he is a dominant receiver

    Rich White

Holmes didn’t have this kid’s size. He can do things that Holmes couldn’t. I’m not talking about the big glamorous play, either. Like Coach Kelly said, he’s a good blocker in the run game, especially against players in the secondary. In that regard, he could be like Heinz Ward. He can be something special, if he adapts well to the pro game.

    JuiceyMane

    @Rich White your right

    Lazer

I’d compare him to a faster/thicker Plaxico Burress

    Raymond Santiago

    Diontae is the next Holmes…

Harry Collick

I love the Steelers, baby.

Gillermo Arias

Yo creo de que si tomlin este año no le gana alos ravens y no califica ala postemporada deberían de darle las GrAcias

Fortly

loved it

FlyHighii Pa

on a side note : Juju is gonna want alot of money next year, not sayin itll be more then hes worth jus sayin Ths season will determine whether the Steelers give him a big contract next season. Idk understand why alot of ppl are hating on ths pick. Ths pick has nuthin to do with Juju Whether Juju leaves or not ,ths is a good pick up.

Richard McKinney

This young man is going to be the large security blanket that either Ben or Mason needs

    Nate DeCarlucci

    Richard McKinney hopefully not Mason

Great pick imo 🇺🇸

Brian Kelly is an og in the coaching community. He’s a pro feeder to the league. And Ian Book is the next great thing too. I’m a Pitt guy yet also a football purist who respect what these guys contribute to the game I love. Claypool is a pure baller! A true gamer with enthusiasm that defines Steelers football.

    Barry King

Kelly is the first one to get in a players face when things get tough. He is a “not my fault, it is your fault” type of guy. Notre Dame deserves better.

    JahPoetix

@Barry King most of them are like that unfortunately. I believe in a cerebral approach. The hardcore approach has made some great players though. I am in agreement that he has to take responsibility for his shortcomings. In time it’ll change.

Claypool will be a name to remember
