Clinched…almost hard to believe. From 2-5 to making the playoffs.
I know its hard to take Jalen Hurts as a prototypical QB. but he’s much more to this team then that. He leads. I know he has issues throwing certain passes but the team gravitates around his voice and picks up the slack. Hurts also has a better time reading defenses. Not the best at it, at least not yet but he’s showing that there’s much more to being a QB then throwing the ball in this league

@MetalBoi 1 Never dismissed his obvious troubles at the position, but he makes up for it in other areas and it works. That’s good enough for me.
This passing criticism is not fact based. Please review the stats & stop repeating this BS that we hear on ESPN.
Hurts is a proficient passer, he just chooses to run more often then other quarterbacks. It’s an incredible skill and makes our offense that much harder to defend.
Prototypical in the league was created to downplay so called African American QB’s talent at both throwing and running. We always get hated on and penalized for being special and athletic. Just imagine how many Lamar’s, Mahommes, Vicks, Cunningham’s didn’t get a fair chance because they wanted that position to stay Caucasians. A lot of player’s wouldn’t be in the HOF if they let us play in the league from the beginning. Sport’s should not have any racism at all, but jealousy and hate continues in the league. I rather have a athletic QB that can scramble if necessary then a sitting duck. The game is changing to these duel threat QB’s just like the TE position use to be dominated by Black and now it’s dominated by Caucasians and that’s fine because all fair and love in Football.

@Marcus Palafox while all of those points are valid, there’s still a big difference between someone in jalens situation and a pure rookie. The transition from college, the taxing draft process, and subsequent relocation can’t be understated. He will absolutely improve with continuity, but I think you’re underestimating the value of his experience last year.

Agree. I actually think he’s gotten a lot better in the pocket in the second half of the season, it’s nice to see progress, especially after Wentz seemed to get worse and worse and worse and his throw/release became a joke towards the end.
I’ve watched J.Hurts since his days in HS and everywhere he goes the team falls in line. It’s truly amazing watching him do it and I’m a Giants fan but I’m not surprised at his success at all. He’s got the “IT” factor that Daniel Jones has always lacked. He’s a once in a generation leader and teammate. He reminds me of Dak but less fake lol

Playing on a injured ankle as-well. what’s your excuse for the giants game? He only ran twice for 7 yards threw for 200 and 2tds and 102.5 passer rating. I’m so proud of the EAGLES!!! Jalen is still a ROOKIE. He is not from another team. He is from college. Let me ask a question. When you start a new job how long does it take you to be the best you can be on your job? I’m sure it’s not in a short amount of time. Give this man a chance I guarantee you, you won’t be sorry.
