I am an Eagle fan, born and raised in Philly. Why the Eagles did not take a page out of Belichick’s playbook and install Nick Foles as the starting quarterback like they did Brady still astounds me. Any smart Eagle fan would have known that Wentz was simply an imposter and could have never won the Super Bowl like Nick did. What is said in Philly is if Wentz had never gotten hurt, the Eagles would still be looking for their first Super Bowl. One thing the Eagles organization got right. They retired Foles’ #9 and it will never be worn by anyone else.
