The deathblow was spiking the ball with a timeout still. Literally just a wasted down. Better off running a play and catching dallas lacking then taking a timeout if the play stays in bounds and having better position for the endzone shot.

It is serious they all are serious Jordan Davis is out and avonte Maddox tore his ACL and brown took a beating over . The season is over. But 49ers aren’t going anywhere but losing in the 2nd or 3rd round again. They’re no good enough offensively and they’re defense is overrated. They can’t beat Minnesota or Dallas or Philly for that matter if the eagles play them at home. Brock Purdy let’s face it. No mr irrelevant can amount to anything. I’m not proud anymore now that we blew it and gave the number 1 seed away to Minnesota. This was the worse NFC collapse ever with a 3 game lead and a great chance for the super bowl with home field that we now gave away to dallas and minnesota. The season is over now that we will be number 5 seed and lose in tampa again.

We can’t stop the run and Andy Dalton is totally better than minshew. The saints beat us easy sadly 42-27

Minshew played well but his footwork is atrocious, he looks like Derek carr or Matt Ryan terrified in the pocket, he still makes good throws but if he wasn’t so off balance all the time he would be much better
Yeah it looks bad when you have to be more creative and more than exceptional on both offense and defense. This game shows that the team has hurt itself with not letting the next man play if you need time to heal. Now you are really hurting the team. You and many others that are commenting have been correct in their assessment of our team coaches. They on both sides of the ball need to be more creative and more likely to make plays in different ways. I’m not a coach, yet an extra defensive backs could be disruptive, and giving more plays and different players settings could confuse the other teams defense and offense. You should have prepared both quarterbacks for any possibility that might happen.
“We’ll learn from them”… you didn’t learn from the Washington game but somehow you’ll learn from this game? What I’ve learned is that if the offense doesn’t play near perfect the defense can’t win it. The defense forced 1 punt and made Prescott look like an NFL MVP, twice blowing a 10 point lead. How will it fare against QB’s like Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen? I’m seriously having doubts that the defense could stop Brock Purdy. The offense is elite but unless they play a near perfect game it’s over. This defense can put up sack numbers but it’s an illusion cause they have shown the propensity to blow leads established by the offense all year long with just a very few exceptions and only against subpar QB talent. I’m a little bothered that I bought in on the hype of this defense.
