@J Sleep Worst team in the league. Finished 3-13. Fired the coach when it was over. And because the Browns were joining the league the next year, the Eagles didn’t even get the first pick of the draft. Cleveland did. It worked okay though because the Eagles picked McNabb with the second overall pick. And they hired Andy Reid as the head coach. So it was a turning point for the franchise. Even then, Andy’s first team in ’99 only won five games. So the first year for a new head coach — even a good one — is often filled with losses. This current team is better than Andy’s first year, so I’m mildly encouraged. Still not sure about the QB. Happy about potentially having three first round picks in April.

I like nick . He is very out spoken and confident. Definitely energetic for him self the team and the organization. I think he could lead us to another super bowl title but tbh for this offense to work besides the run gm. We are gonna need a more accurate qb with a live arm. I like hurts duel threat talent but he ain’t no Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson if u know wat I mean. Let’s be real this qb draft coming up is not it . Our best bet is to go after Russ or Rodgers . See wat happens. The defense has a chance to be a shutdown defense, Gannon just has to mix more aggressiveness in the scheme
@Jerrel Ringgold lol no offense but fans like you are part of the reason it took Saban so long to bench him at Bama. It’s like deja vu all over again. It took all of our 5-star WRs getting their stats destroyed, losing a natty because we couldn’t throw the ball except during garbage time once the game was lost, and almost losing the natty the next year too (and getting completely shut out) before Saban finally pulled the trigger and put in a real QB after 2 years of having a running back pretending to play the position. Nothing has changed. Hurts is a great athlete and seems like a nice guy but he doesn’t see the field and has zero natural ability as a passer. He’s never gonna win games against teams that have the personnel to load up and stop the run.

@Jerrel Ringgold So true..it so damn obvious. They simply don’t like the idea of a young, gifted, educated brother in this position. He is a humble young man that can do great things for this organization and the city of Philadelphia. A GOD fearing young man that stands before you at 21 when he got drafted. He finished college in 3 YEARS. The young man is awesome. Any father would be proud to have a son like him.

@Jerrel Ringgold Agreed 100%…. There are a lot of uneducated, miserable people that don’t want these types of brothers in this position to succeed. I’ve seen QB’s that never won a SB thru-out their career and had a 10yrs plus job in the NFL. Also. I’ve seen QB’s that blew it in the SB and still a damn started in the NFL. Please, if the Eagles are really committed to Jalen they would listen to their starting QB and bring in players around him. He has no true dominate weapons on this team. The line has never been consistent. He needs a Derick Henry type RB, another stud TE, and two 6.4’s W/O. Smith and Reager are not true W/O. They are not big enough to deal with one on one situation. Give Jalen some real elite players like Dallas. I bet he will easily take us to the SB… By the way, in next year draft. I would take Brain Robinson Jr a RB from Alabama and get a great trade for Sanders. It has to start with the run game and everything else open up in the play book. Football 101….. Jalen Hurst is a winner!

I see no one is speaking about Nick…everyone thought he was a moron and he was ownerships puppet…remember when Pederson only played vets…didn’t give the young players any snaps…this coach is cutting people who are a bad fit, playing young players and benching vets who aren’t making a impact, I thought Howie made roster decisions? smh..he’s not sticking with bad players and he speaks his mind. When was the last time this team’s pass defense was top ten? They need work of course. I told people you’re going to inconsistent play and coaching, it’s a very young team in the first year of a rebuild…this is about finding who will stick for next year…next year will be about developing and acquiring real talent. The following season is putting it altogether to see what the product looks like on the field.

Is there any truth to some reports that Lurie prefers a pass-centric offence and doesn’t want too man run calls played, and the coaches are expected to reflect this in schemes?
I think Nick’s issues is he tries to give too much information with his answers and starts to fumble. Keep the answers simple and move on
