@Ethan Terzic nick Foles in 2013 posted 27 tds- 2 ints, setting the new TD-INT ratio and went 7-1 as a starter in replacement of Mike Vick. The 1 loss was when he went down in the first quarter against the cowboys. Going by those stats, he could’ve had around 50 tds if he started the first 8 games as well. So i would say in 2013 he was better than smith

Declan Brown 2013 to now im taking a healthy alex smith over a healthy nick foles every day because foles is a middletier systematic qb. Thats what he has been for years. Take injuries out of the equation alex smith is better than nick foles.

The main thing you need in a qb is what nick has, seeing all the receivers, reading the defense, and being accurate. That is what makes you good in this game and Mitch doesn’t have I actually feel super confident with him at qb

Which is rather silly. When you play in 9 Superbowls, playing the best team from the other conference, the odds of going 9-0 are pretty astronomical.

Based on what I’ve seen, we need a consistent guy like A-Rob, considering the inconsistencies from Anthony Miller, TE play, lack of running attack (not D-Mont’s fault), Nagy in love with these “trick plays” with Patterson and Mooney just a rookie. Brears need to re-sign and keep Robinson. Obviously, we’re going to need to look at the draft for adding youth on defense and some positions on offense (QB, WR and O-line)

I think its salary cap concerns about next season. Robinson is a GAMER and we don’t want to lose him and I believe that Robinson needs to let his contract be structured in such a way the money isn’t the next 2 seasons but is guaranteed 80% over 5 or 6 years.

I like Foles as a leader but there’s no way tonight made me comfortable with our QB situation. The 3rd down throw to A-ROB and the TD to Mooney that he missed will come back to kill you in most games. Just glad we got the win, BEAR DOWN!

@Brock Deschner just ridiculous posts. Foles had barely about 2 weeks of practice compared to Brady who’s been familiar with his guys for months. I don’t wanna hear it. You wanna blame anybody? Blame Nagy for putting him in this situation. He knew he didn’t want Mitch to be the starter, yet he gave him that role which took away the reps Foles should’ve gotten. Give him a few more weeks to get more comfortable. You think Foles shoulda come in, barely any practice or communication with the guys, and perform like Joe Montana. *GTFO*
You should be worried about the lack of run game and the weak o line, the way things are going Foles wont last the whole season taking this beating.

Exactly Foles is a beast against the blitz, he can read defenses and threw pretty well under pressure.
Just for comparison, Tom Brady… career vs blitz: 57.83% comp, 2241yds, 15 TD, 7 INT, 18 sacks, 86.8 QB rating.

It’s amazing we didn’t turn the ball over as much except that fumble recovery by our own O-Line which otherwise, could’ve enabled TB to win the game instead. We we’re lucky. Our O-Line with Juan Castile needs to get back at work their run blocking ahead and pass protection schemes. We may need to use more two TE sets as well in order to run the ball better than we have the last two games.
