Defense bailed us out again. The offense is in serious trouble. They’ve faced the same defensive scheme for 17 straight weeks and can’t stay consistent. Too many stud players never seeing the ball. Too much talent to be having trouble moving the chains. I just can’t process how there is never an open receiver farther than 10 yds down field. Not to mention, we can’t hold a lead or put a team down to save our life. Love my chiefs but this is looking very 1 and done.

Take away the Cleveland win and the 2 Raider wins (because neither team played 2 deep safeties against us) and our record is 9-5. Our stud players are the ones making the plays and enabling the wins. They were also the ones being limited/not making plays contributing to losses. The offense is good, the defense is better when our two young linebackers are on the field and Neiman and Sorensen aren’t – someday Spagnuolo will realize that. Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl again this year. Best overall team in the AFC.
@Cheb Ornek Raiders did play two deep safety, but they couldn’t stop the run to save their life so they had to pull out of it.
too much stud players? Hill can’t catch a ball unless his chest is involved. Kelce & Pringle are the only competent receivers Mahomes has.
@Cheb Ornek add Melvin Ingram and chris Jones back to the inside in those first 7 games we may be 14 and 4 or 15 and 2. We can’t play what ifs though. Chiefs have 9 wins 5nlosses against playoff teams or teams who potentially to make playoffs. Chiefsbare fine. Andy Reid needs to stop trying to play it safe in second half though. Chiefs will be in the conference championship. Lets just hope Texans win today
