NFL Draft 2022: Why Kenneth Walker III is Simms' top RB prospect | Pro Football Talk | NBC Sports

Dr. Wan PharmD

Drafting a RB in the top 10 becomes overly dicey and risky for today’s NFL teams.

GnDo91

Florio’s example is so sad but true. Since an RB’s career expectancy is only 6-8 years of good production, you can just have good production on a rookie contract for that player’s entire career and just dump him when you’ve used him up. And that player would never have made any real NFL money, sad man.

    Juan Sanchez

@Brad Johnson how do you get me pointing out the RBs who have arguably the shortest careers of all positions and thus should get a Chance to get a second contract because soon rbs won’t get second contracts at all and make no money for their career and turn it into there won’t be no draft?

    Newnew Johnson

    6 IS A REACH!!!!

    GnDo91

@Newnew Johnson how is it a reach? And why the all caps?

    Olin The Great

    @Brad Johnson That’s a incredibly stupid take

    Danny Lengyel

Since when do NFL players not make any real money? Do you have any idea how much these guys make?? Any idea how much more they make than almost everybody else? I’d kill to make the kind of money these guys do.

ElTacoSlayer

Alot of talented walkers in this draft huh

Derrick Nichols

They talking about other position, good job

MUTshane

One injury and these guys are half the player, that’s why nobody wants them in the first

Ric Blic

Barkley was 2nd over all in 2018 and it seems he’s already on the backside of his career, seems after about 4 years a lot of those traits that made him a 1st round pick are waning, so is it wise to invest a 1st round choice in a RB

    Zed anide

Probably because he has no one to block for him, or a competent coach

R. Malik

Kenneth Walker =Beast

Do Du

i thought simms will take all the rbs that got 4.3 speed. the most natural effortless runner i watch on tape is Rachaad White. he doesnt even have him in his honorable mention. …he is the best qb evaluator. but the other positions its all over the place.

Zed anide

He arguably should’ve won Heisman. Just remember who gave Michigan their 1 loss in the regular season. I don’t know why people and NFL scouts aren’t taking him seriously

    Chef Turbo

RB just isn’t valued the way it used to be in the draft. KW is about as clearcut super star as any RB in any draft. His game will translate to the NFL.

Raquan Davis

Kenneth walker to the bills

    Jizzle Timbos

Beane should take notice of this

ernesto de avila

No mention of Sincere McCormick? Never fumbled missed 1 game, etc.

john martin

Deandre swift is gonna take a huge leap this year

    Reginald

Why was I thinking the same thing here

Tim D

Kenneth Walker will be a better pro than in college and he was a great college player.Bills gotta draft him

Kuki_

If I’m the the Ravens and he’s still on the board in the 2nd round I’m taking him.
No way we having no Running backs available this season.

G. Reid

He’s the best back in the draft IMO

Bryce Wilson

im certainly more than a little biased but kenneth walker seems like the best rb prospect in this draft to me
