Seems to me that at least half of Allen’s interceptions this year are due to choice routes where Josh thinks the receiver is going one way and they decide to go the other.
Would love to see less choice routes so that Allen knows exactly where the receiver is going to be, and know that much quicker than he currently does. I think the choice routes are one of the reasons Allen sits in the pocket so long. I get jealous when I see other QBs drop 3 steps and immediately throw the ball for a quick 5-8 yard gain and wonder why they can’t call plays where Josh can do that.

@JCzo agreed, people are claiming brown didn’t run his route but then why was Rhodes there? Allen was under heavy pressure and it wasn’t 3rd down. If it were 3rd down on the position on the field , a pick/chance that deep is like a good punt and worth the toss. As I remember most of Allen’s picks are on 1st or 2nd down this year. People can argue all day but given he has the most it’s hard to argue he hasn’t had an issue. In this game he had 1 bad turnover on him and it was this one. The fumble was a d lineman coming in clean and fast.
Sometimes u just have to throw ball away , Thats been Allens problem , i can understand u want to make huge plays but u cannot do this all the time , regardless they did win , but u cannot throw pics against the bengals . And u def have to hold on to ball for dear life or its done !!!!

I would like to see the catch probability rate of the Knox TD. That one didn’t make sense. The defender was completely between Josh and Knox and somehow Allen still threw it around the defender and somehow Know managed to catch it with one extended hand.

When josh Allen gets going he plays great , the throws are amazing , but with Bengals there is not too much room for error ,so he has to play his best game , as he did last season in Pats game , and chiefs game, he did not lose that game his defence did , they could not hold Mahomes down . But he played a great game … Pats game was history made in playoffs !! He needs to get back to that form !!
