This offense was disgraceful. Zach needs to prove that he’s the guy and he’s doing the complete opposite

This one is on the head coach. 103 yards offense coming off a bye week. This defensive minded head coach needs to figure out what’s wrong with this offense. 103 is unacceptable.
When it’s this bad, it’s on all of them, Head Coach, OC, QB, OL, Receivers, Backs–All of them. But, one thing I will say is when you cannot convince your QB to get his feet right on a 5-yard throw to the left or right, you have MANAGEMENT ISSUES. I can make that throw and I am 54 years old.
2 offensive highlights? Something has to change and I’m leaning towards the QB being 80% of the problem and not the coaching staff… Let’s get another dub next week ✈

The Bills game was such a well coached game, it was the first one that gave me any hope that we had a professional staff that understand how to play football chess. As we have seen, the Bills coach is not the greatest strategist in the game today either, so maybe, my first impressions were correct on this staff after all. I believe one of the major problems with Lefleur is one that his brother has, they believe in systems and not players. Some coaches call plays for the plays, the great ones call plays so players can make plays. The Jets just lost two games to an inferior team (NE) and chances are they will edge us out for a playoff spot. Joe Douglas has assembled a talented bunch of players here, this team can win now–not waiting on a neophtye staff to figure out their system.
Before the sycophants start on “How great the defense played”–Let’s look inside the numbers–Mac Jones 23/27 246 Damien Harris 8 65 8.1, they set out to stop one thing–Rhamondre Stevenson 15 26 1.7 –But, Bill thinks down to his 4th and 5th levels of planning–Jakobi Meyers 4 52 13.0 Receiving yards Rhamondre Stevenson 6 56 9.3 Our guys get stuck on their 1st or 2nd level planning, and Bill will wear you down so bad, you forget that you’re the better talent overall. They let up the explosive plays that changed field position, they missed turnovers on three different possesions, they didn’t make any game changing plays. Why? Because they played not to LOSE, instead of playing to win the game on defense. It’s a mentality set by the staff, do not lose the game.
When you cannot figure out one thing on the offense that can work on a given day, either your coaching staff is incompetent or your QB is, even if the OL are a bunch of statue tackle dummies, you still should be able to make something work on the field. You have three receivers on that field that run sub 4.3 40’s and a league that loves to call PI penatlies to breed offense, push the ball down the field, let your QB do what he does best. Better an INT 40 yards down the field than 12 punts and losing on a punt return. But, I know that the safe chess player rarely wins, Salah had no idea, especially when he holds all the best pieces on the board.
@Esmond Mckenzie You can win with this talent, not a Super Bowl yet, but, you can get into the playoffs. However, this is the 2nd game that BB outcoached our staff. Not the worst thing in the world to get outclassed by the best, but Lefleur did not get better, he got worse. Look, Salah seems to have one side of the ball worked out, his side. The defense played well enough to win this game. BUT, HE IS THE HEAD COACH, BB has won with offensive and defensive minded teams, so Salah needs to learn when you have to take the shots–something a defensive minded coach MUST LEARN TO DO. Bill Parcells stated that you have to do four things out of the ordinary during a game, he was a defensive minded coach who learned to take his shots…BB learned from him. THE JETS LOST THIS GAME TAKING NO SHOTS AT WINNING THIS GAME. Even down to a 3rd and 1 pass to the flat WITH 25 SECONDS LEFT–That is on the coaching..Salah must take the reigns of this whole team, if he really believes in ALL GAS NO BRAKE.
@Joseph Bruhh patriots are just as Mud on offence as the Jets – both teams have Great Defences but really bad offences!! Both teams have a lot to work on.
Thank you!! This game was coached awfully on offense. No adjustments at the half what so ever and I agree lefleur stuck in this “system” type mindset is hurting this offense. Let the players play to their strength. Like it makes me mad he says all the receivers must know every position or they won’t play. How about you line them up where they feel the most comfortable and let them ball. Also missing Davis is big since that’s zachs favorite target when he needs it
Our Defence is on another Level!! Our offence is on another planet like they shouldn’t even exist!! Like we need a new offensive coordinator and a QB now.. I’m a cash in my receipt on Zack and Mike Lafleur just disappointing!! Can we have a go at Lamar Jackson please!!

As a Jets fan in that crowd, the only “highlight” was during one of the breaks when they showed on the big screen the 86-year-old dude with his family at his first Patriots game. Warmed my heart.

It’s always fun seeing the Jets get screwed over by the Patriots. Especially since this is all happening ever since Tom Brady left. The Jets are the empire, they’ve won enough superbowls as far as I’m concerned.
As a Jets fan, I have simply resigned myself to the fact that we start every season off at 0-2 with the Patriots on our schedule. They just own the Jets, bottom line.
