We let down. Believed our own hype. Got a bit cocky. This team has to play near perfect to win because our talent level just isn’t there. Heart only takes you so far. But 3 turnovers and so so talent = losing to Detroit at home.
Everyone knows having your starting corner at punt return is the smartest thing to do. Way to go Dabs. Embarrassment
New York New York 😆
Sometimes you just have to chalk up a bad loss to a bad day, put it in your back pocket, and move forward. I know we’re not the best team in the league by a long shot but today was garbage on all fronts including coaching. I still believe wholeheartedly in this team and I believe we can find three more wins to make the playoffs. I love the coaches, and I love the direction we’re going. Sometimes you just have a really bad day. On to Dallas.
Slayton forgot to mention that he had 3 drops as well, overall horrible game plan from Kafka, giants are usually great at adjusting at halftime but there was zero adjustments and dabolls decision to make adore our CB1 return kicks was stupid
giants defense has not been the same since the mckinney injury. they can’t get into an offensive game with anybody. their wins were predicated on defense. now that’s up in the air.
So much bad shiiiii in this… my main thin in total is there was no fight… no competing, if it was a lost from playing well would have been better, but playing like trash!!!!! Hurts
Can we all remind the team on what happened to the great Jason Seahorn, and why his career was cut short here
I don’t get why Giants staff can’t see we need a receiver that can make plays. We don’t have enough off. Weapons to keep winning
absolutely tho this was a trap game for sure, like come on, they underestimated the lions staff for sure and they disrupted SaQuon and Prevented Darius Slayton from any receiving yards, but gotta give credit to the Detroit Lions , their defense really did came out and took advantage of us from the beginning. we gotta stay healthy and be ready for a Thanksgiving showdown against Dallas Thursday
Tough game to watch. All credit goes to the Detroit Lions. They absolutely DOMINATED every phase of this game.
Daniel Jones showed you exactly what he is today.
I hope that people now realize that we’re the third best team in our division and playoffs is not guaranteed we need to stretch the field we cannot win with these sandbox plays.
This loss was a ‘beat down’, but I think the takeaway is Big Blue will come back against Dallas with a vengeance! (Neal and Bellinger will be back and that will be a big moral boost!) No excuses, move on, practice well, and get the W on Thursday!!
I’m a G fan. But the boys are going to put a hurt on them as they did to the Vikes
I don’t like the Giants but it is pretty clear: 1) Injuries are catching up with them, and 2) Lack of offensive weapons makes it easier to gameplan against them.
Lions did what they came to do, made the better plays. Giants getting killed with injuries but the season goes on. Still a better record than the last few years
Saquon got shut out big time, Kayvon who?
Giants didn’t lose the game the Lions won it
Detroit dominated both lines. Detroit’s 330 lbs NT Alim McNeil was unblockable today with 3 tfl, 1 sack. Held Barkley 15-22 yards is unbelievable. Rookie Hutchinson int and fum rec lead to 14 points.
This game wasn’t close. Detroit has now won 3 in a row. Vs Buffalo on Thanksgiving
I liked slayton’s comments. Dude seems humble and Hope he keeps continuing to improve!!
