Chris Gonzalez The defense kept us in. The offense had two turn overs and 27 rush yards. If that’s a good showing then you’re on drugs.
KTG I’m not saying the rush game was good dj played good by obviously the turnovers affected the flow of the game our defense played good up until they started to tire out but this week against the bears I believe the giants could win
Do the bears ever run stretch plays? Every time I see them run the ball its up the middle.
InWhichIDie yeah I think with cohens speed and Montgomery’s strength we should be able to do some stretch plays but for some reason they almost always run up the middle
They ran some tosses and stretches with patterson and he had some decent runs. overall the run game up the middle was working pretty well against the lions so they didn’t stretch it too much
The Bears did nothing but run stretch plays the entire last season, this is good

Factor in all the holding against mack and the refs turning a blind eye
Honestly, some terrible no-calls that game, easily 5 holdings I saw myself that game on Mack alone.
He always getting held
Holding calls are MASSIVELY down across the entire league in week 1. Seems like that was an emphasis for the refs in the offseason, so expect more holding as players test what they can now get away with. I actually agree with them doing this overall, holding calls damage the quality of the game so as few as possible is best
