    The first half was not good, but Gannons defense gave up 13 points and kept you in the game. They got multiple stops for the offense to get points and they didn’t.

    @FiringallCylinders No excuse for letting both the Saints AND Cowboys pick apart our defense with little resistance whatsoever. The secondary has been god awful. The Saints’ players were wide-open all game long and we couldn’t get a 3rd down stop to save our lives. The defense can’t escape how poorly they played for the majority of the game.

If Jalen Hurts isn’t really hurt, the Eagles has squandered their chance to lock up the #1 seed and may have to travel to get to the Super Bowl.

The defense made adjustments but offense failed to commit. I am not sure what this staff seen in the Saints defense that they thought passing would have been their strength. Saints were ranked #2 in Passing defense coming into the game. You have a backup QB and Right Tackle. Saints got the ball first and just mauled the defense to the score. Offense said, “Let’s win the game on Minshew’s arm”. “3 quick passes, our defense has rested enough!”. The staff needs to do better at recognizing the feel of the game and play complimentary football. Even when they did have some success the penalties have been killers. Just a huge disappointment because once again the game was there for the taking. Have to complete the mission fellas! “2% better everyday”. “Control what you can control”. “Be the thermostat, not the thermometer”. Running would have made passing the ball 2% better. You can control the clock with running the ball. Definitely set the temperature with run setting the controls”. Another missed opportunity to improve. Yo only get one opportunity in the playoffs. LFG 🦅!!! We are better than this.
